40 Acres of majestic redwoods bordering Wilder Ranch State Park gives you access to thousands of acres of excellent hiking and mountain biking right from your campsite. Miles of single-track and fire roads in this world-class mountain bike destination lead you through the redwoods to sunny meadows with sweeping vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the Monterey Bay. Conveniently located above the westside of Santa Cruz, our site will give you easy access to scenic Westcliff Drive, Natural Bridges State Beach, downtown Santa Cruz, quaint Felton, Henry Cowell Redwoods state park as well as remote North Coast beaches. Please note tent camping is a rain-or-shine activity. :)

Site 7 - Artsy, w Electric + lights

Redwood forest Paradise

Gorgeous land, I got some good nature therapy! Unlike the other sites this one is built out a little bit with a deck, lights, and electricity. Thank you Scott for your hospitality!

Site 2 - Redwood Forest Tenting

Not worth the price.. 40% to much

The bathroom thing was a bit weird. Not “ quiet” as advertised. Very loud party music, not saying it was at camp but it was very close. The place was clean and the tent spots were flat. I could not found the water spout but honestly I didn’t ask either.

Site 1 - Redwood Forest Tenting

We had a fantastic stay at Site 1 - Redwood Forest Tenting at Redwood Paradise! My wife, two kids, and I found the campsite perfect for our family. Scott was an excellent host, very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. While the campsites are close together, we still enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful setting surrounded by towering redwoods. The one shared toilet and water faucet was conveniently located near Site 1. The access to trails for both hiking and mountain biking was a huge plus, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in nature. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely come back!

Site 6 - Redwood Forest Tenting

This is a wonderful camping getaway! A very secluded but easy to access (definitely do make sure you have AWD) spot nestled among the redwoods. Facilities were easy to use and Scott was a great host and sent helpful instructions.

Site 2 - Redwood Forest Tenting

This was a great spot to be in the redwoods! Scott was super responsive and accommodating. The spots are pretty close together so you see the other campers and thankfully my neighbors were not too loud but if you’re looking for full isolation this might not be the spot. The parking is a pretty steep (but short - maybe 90 second) walk away from the site so hauling a lot of stuff could be kind of a hassle. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to camp among the redwoods in Santa Cruz!
