Loved every second of staying here. The experience in the treehouse was so unique that no previous camping or glamping can compare. If you like small spaces and want something different, this is the place.

Nice campground in great location!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin! The campground is in a great location giving us the opportunity to tour the amazing redwood forests. Clean bathrooms and hot showers were great. The nights got chilly so we made use of the electric heater. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip out to this beautiful, special place.

Very cozy cabins.

It was the coziest cabin and friendliest people. The showers are nice and hot and water pressure is great.The weather got cold unexpectedly, and I was offered a heater for my little cabin. They have trash disposal, and a more than reasonably priced laundromat.

Mixed feelings

Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. There is a few things i would recommend for anyone coming here in future. Bring some blankets for colder nights and pillows. Is it reasonable for that price? I would say 50/50, could be better for what you pay. But definitely will recommend that.

The Stump House

It was so fun to stay in the stump house! There was a little mix up in the beginning with them accidentally giving someone else our reserved treehouse, but they fixed the problem quickly and all was good. One thing I would suggest is a little more bedding inside the stump house, but luckily we had a thick blanket in the car, and there is a heater in there, but I had assumed there would be more blankets available, especially as it’s now turning colder. Overall it’s a beautiful space and we had a great time staying there!

The stump tree house is absolutely beautiful! We felt like Kebbler Elves, just needed the outfits! Lol The entire camp is extremely clean & decorated very cute! Restrooms were clean, showers were hot & had great water pressure! The host are very accommodating & nice! I wish we lived in the area because we would 100% come back!

Cabin: Love

It’s remote but connected to WiFi. It has hotttt showers and a safe cozy place to sleep surrounded by towering huge old growth trunks with fairy rings. It’s very chill with everything you need including laundry and power✨ so close to avenue of the giants and a few amazing hikes to the tall tree, giant tree, and ancient old growth forests. Worth it for a great price! I stayed in Cabin Love!

Awesome spot we stayed in the “Love” Cabin. Clean and cozy. Felt very safe and hosts were welcoming and very quick to respond. Was only there one night but would come back if we were in the area again. And very affordable.

Nice spot with a very friendly and helpful host! It's just off highway 101, so there's definitely a bit of highway noise, but not too bad, and the trade-off is of course that it makes for quick and easy access to Scotia/Rio Dell or Eureka. The cabins are simple but comfortable, more than adequate if you're just looking for a bed and a roof. Would stay again if we're back up that way!

Family Camp was a win.

We rented a tiny cabin with 2 bunk beds shaded by redwoods fron hipcamp.com. The site included lots of RVs, some cabins, a treehouse and tent camping, as well as a shop. The gps coordinates were wrong but the staff were helpful, warm, and family oriented. The bunk beds were sturdy and reminded me of summer camp. We brought our own bedding so that's what you make of it. The cabin had a small refrigerator, and microwave. There was a new wood picnic table, and fire pit a safe distance in front of the cabin. A local kiddo (daughter of staff perhaps) proudly told us about updates made to the onsite play ground. My 5 year old loved the various slides, structures and colorfully painted tire obstacle course The bath facilities were older but safe, clean, free and well kept. The wifi was good for internet searches, phone calls and music - don't expect it for streaming shows or 8 hours on zoom. It's so close to the avenue of the giants and miss affordable than other options.

Magical Stumphouse

This treehouse was by far the coolest stay I’ve ever had! Great location near avenue of the giants, wonderful hosts, and all around fantastic stay. I even was able to buy wood and lighter fluid there for the fire pit. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique experience.

Quiet pleasant spot

The site was a pleasant family oriented area. The other campers were quiet and respectful. We enjoyed the space between sites. The site occasionally host festivals, the atmosphere while there has us thinking of returning to explore one of them.

Good spot to camp at. The cabins are clean and tidy. There is a heater, microwave and a small fridge. The mattresses are okay, bring your own bedding. Thank you
