Owner was responsive but Overall we had just “ok” experience, it’s lacking thoughtful arrangements to make it exceptional experience. Our main intention was to see petting zoo and play axe throwing etc. but site was not upkeep, No one greeted us upon our check in or gave us tour of the property! We were provided fresh eggs but when asked some questions about the site, he just rudely explained in one liner without a smile and walked away!! There was no exe for exe throwing! It would have been great experience if we were allowed to feed animals.. bathroom was nicely set up but was missing body wash, shampoo!! AC took forever to get cabin cold and still couldn’t get Master bedroom cold, master bed had window which did not have screen so we could not open the windows at night. There was fan which was too noisy so we slept hot.. kitchen had all the vessels but was missing oil (which we had forgotten to bring with us and realized late around 8:30 pm while cooking and asked owner if she can provide us oil/butter so we can cook but she responded at 10:30pm that she can’t provide, sorry!!)
Little things like these make huge difference to make ok experience to great experience.. they have nice property and should put serious efforts to make this more welcoming, at the current stage, I would not recommend to visit this place, there are lot more properties in nearby area with much more services at reasonable price!

Absoluteloved staying here at the Stargazer. If you want a quiet time away from the coty, cars, noose and just want to be with nature, this is the place. All you need to bring is food, ice and water. Everything else you need is already provided. Amber is a fantastic host who really cares. She rescues animals and has a small petting zoo which is always fun no matter your age. Most of the animals are rescues which is an added bonus. We were lucky that the ducks had just laid some eggs. So we were gifted some and they were delicious. The star gazing here at night is also amazing. I couldnt recommend this place enough. Thanks Amber for your amazing hospitality. My wife and I absolutely loved it.

The Barn and mini petting zoo
Amber is such a great host! She gave us duck eggs when we arrived and feathers from the birds for the kids. The kids had so much fun feeding carrots to the mini horses, donkey and goats. They loved seeing all the birds and got lucky enough to see the peacock all fanned out. The archery range was a huge hit and was the favorite thing to do for my oldest. The apartment had everything we needed and thankfully was air-conditioned since we were there during a heat wave. The kids are already asking to go back.
