Welcome to Prairie Dog RV And Camping! Kick back, detach, and savor your surroundings of pristine desert sunsets, moonlit sands and breathtaking mountainous views. And of course the stars being worth the price of admission! Conveniently located only 5-8 minutes driving from Twentynine Palms City Center, and just 10-12 minutes to the Joshua Tree National Park East Entrance. A more remote and private off-grid campground experience catering to all RV "Boondockers" and general camp goers alike. Neighborhood Description: Enjoy the peace and quiet of these surroundings. It's truly a relaxing experience to take in. Neighborhoods like ours allow you to really appreciate the openness and mountainous scenery of Joshua Park, the Marine Base sand dune mountains to the north and the eastern expanse into Wonder Valley. Homes are sparsely spread out in this area and there is a small privately owned Airport Strip a few blocks away that offers Sky Diving! Getting Around: Enjoy the convenience of close access(5 mins) to everything Twentynine Palms City Center has to offer(restaurants, shops, cafes, etc) and the East Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on Utah Trail Rd. WE STRONGLY advise NOT to do any kind of off-roading exploration in the neighborhood or else you do run a very good risk of getting stuck in the sand!! Please stay on all dirt road paths coming to and leaving the campground! Just a little heads up...there is one block of dirt road right before reaching the entrance to my property that is just a little bumpy, but totally fine for all vehicles to handle. Once on the property, feel free to use the circular driveway and Parking/RV Slip however way you wish-depending on how many vehicles are in your party. We are happy to Host all Class A RV vehicles and trailers up to 45' ft in length. Amenities: -Porta Potty Fully Equipped With: Water Pump Sink, Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kit, Light Sensor, Baby Wipes, Hand Soap, Toilet Paper, paper Towel -Park Style Charcoal Grill -Propane Fire Pit and Lounging Furniture -Hammock -2 Propane Tanks -Trash Recptacle -Picnic Table -Free Parking On Premises NOTE: I am not using any physical structures for Short Term Renting on this premises. Therefore, this listing is EXEMPT from any local County Short-Term Rental Ordinances.

Majestic desert experience

10 out of 10. Exceptional property that strikes the perfect balance between convenience (trash bins, clean portable lav, gas pit, hammock), privacy/safety, and location (29 Palms downtown 10 min drive max). Robert is immediately responsive to requests and was beyond gracious throughout my stay. This property checked every ideal I was hoping for in a desert camping experience. No light pollution makes for unmatched star-gazing experience.

Will definitely go back!

Amazing and quite place. I could see the milky way at night. Was very clean and well kept, bathroom was spotless. Stay on the main path when driving though, I accidentally took a wrong turn at night and got my truck stuck in the sand.
