The property has been in our family for over 30 years. We have enjoyed camping there growing up and would love to share this beautiful location with our guests now. Come and enjoy beautiful trails, creeks and hike an amazing mountain. Immerse yourself in nature. Point Skyfall is on your way to Yosemite National Park and close to many recreational places like Lake Mclure, Bagsby, Mocassin Point and Horseshoe Bend.

This site really needs improvement. We did not feel secure and can’t imagine if there were 4 campers in this area. The one additional camper took up most the area with his supplies spread over much of the clearing and several large brush piles.

Probable scam - do not book
Do not book. Highly misleading information. Sand pile with mosquitoes. Local authorities informed me this is a scam listing and there have been prior victims. Sherrif apparently investigating. I did not stay as unsuitable for camping. Called my credit card company and they would not refund since I had voluntarily booked using Hipcamp app. My first time using Hipcamp and it was a disaster.

No toilet, no campfires, no refund
We booked but never stayed -- no toilet facilities, no campfire rings. From what we could tell it's just a large overgrown field. It is also NOT close to the beach. Even though the listing didn't mention lack of toilet facilities and said we COULD have campfires, the host refused a refund when we chose to stay elsewhere.

Point Skyfall
This place offers a nice view if you hike up the main mountain in front of the meadow. There is no water available. A small water hole is around but it is hard to access and the water is green with pollen. Bring your own water. There is a good deal of privacy and space to explore. The only other drawbacks are the limited clearings for setting camp. Grass is high, and there are ticks, so make sure you bring proper gear. Also, limited shade during the day, so find a nice tree or bring an umbrella.

Site location is great but when we tried to stay campsite was inaccessible (roads were overgrown and undrivable). With entry maintenance site would be good.

Camp Trip
My partner, dog and I came for a quick nature getaway. The location wasn't too difficult to get to. Definitely check in with the host to see where to park, it was a bit harder with my small car. There was so much space and land for my pup to run around. She was the happiest. The night sky was impeccable. Such a beautiful sight. There were some other campers on the land as it is so large. It was still such a private and lovely stay. I believe the kitchen/toilets were still being developed. There are some beautiful lakes not to far from the space as well. The drives and the scenery was great. Host was extremely nice and responsive. Thank you! Overall I recommend.
