Pink Cloud Ranch

I appreciate how close the site was to the JT. We did get confused as to where we needed to go park however the host was kind enough to find us and walk us to our tent site as well as point out the amenities (thank you!!). She was also offered her house shower to us since the very cold temperature didn’t allow for the outdoor shower to provide hot water (thank you again). When we arrived there was shareable firewood which was awesome! Also the horses were nice and made funny horse noises which was cool in my opinion!! My two issues were: 1) The bathroom: toilet paper was extremely thin, there was no cover sheets for the toilet seat, and there was no light inside the portable bathroom. There was hand sanitizer which was nice. 2) The place seemed cluttered with random stuff.... maybe it would have been more enjoyable when there isn’t snow? Overall I was satisfied.

Pink Cloud Ranch was an amazing experience and the distance to Joshua Tree National Park is truly unbeatable. The address for the location was straightforward to find, but the road to get there is a tad rough (no problem for a high clearance vehicle). The site had all of the essential utilities that were running perfectly, and Tammy made sure to show us how to use everything. I actually forgot a lighter to use for my portable stove and I was able to call Tammy, and she brought me one. I will definitely be staying at this location again!

Two nights on sage deck

RAW WOOD Deck

Tammy is awesome and sites are communal yet private. Another review said to show up and pick your spot, but sites are booked individually....sage deck, avocado deck, wooden deck etc. Tammy takes great care to manage campfire safety, so if it's windy, plan on no fire (as it should be). Shower is best I've experienced on hip camp...on demand hot water, great pressure and outdoors in the desert sun. Close to town for a quick ice run, or a beer. Great spot, great host. Dog frienfly :) There are coyotes there and all through the desert, so common sense applies if you are letting your snack, I mean Yorkie off leash. There is an outdoor sink with potable water, as well as a propane grill. Tammy has the porta potty cleaned weekly. It was very clean on arrival and no issues all weekend long (does not stink).

Pink Ranch Review

Tammy’s place was that nice balance of camping while still having luxuries. She had a propane barbecue as well as several wood and charcoal grills. The shower was nice and clean. The place is sort of communal where you are sharing the space with several other reservable sites all on the same property. She was very kind and her horses were fun to interact with.

Magical hideaway in the desert!

Absolutely wonderful host! Beautiful spot. Very clean and the outside shower is amazing. Magically lit at night so you can find your way around. The horses are and added bonus. Love this place. Will definitely come back!

ROUND PEN DELUXE

Tammy was a wonderful and affable host. The site was really cool, there are horses there that you can feed. Chairs were comfortable, bathroom was clean. The grounds were aesthetically beautiful. All around great vibes and I would totally go there again! Thanks Tammy!

Great stay

I really enjoyed staying here, and it was a terrific alternative to the fully booked campsites inside JT. It's close to the north entrance of the park, in a quiet residential area. The two horses are near the campsites, but other than a bit of whinnying during the night, they weren't noisy. The place definitely has a junkyard aesthetic, but not in a way that felt like we were tripping over stuff. It was really nice to have two grills and a sink with running water, and the outdoor shower is terrific! Very warm, with great water pressure. There's tons of seating, so this would be an easy place to come with group.

Great Camping Experience!

Ideal Camping+ Vibe

We absolutely loved Pink Cloud Ranch! We had a larger group and were able to get 5 tents comfortably into the two sites we rented (Sage and Avocado). The amenities were limited enough for true camping vibes but made meals, dishes, and bathroom needs so easy to manage for the group! Tammy was an excellent host and the horses were the friendliest neighbors. Definitely looking to come back!

Good Stuff!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pink Cloud Ranch. The girls especially enjoyed being around the horses and my wife appreciated how close it was to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Downtown Joshua Tree is a couple miles away and has a great feel to it as well. We’ll be coming back again in the near future.

Cozy, comfortable, safe and trendy.

This site was perfect, hip and beautiful. I strongly recommend Tammy’s campsites for other campers. She offers accompdations if you don’t have camp gear that are cute, cozy and comfortable.

I loved my stay in the Cozy Travli Trailer! I went for a solo trip in December and it was rainy the whole time I was there but still lovely and quite cozy. Unfortunately I didn't get to take advantage of the cool setup Tammy has created but I can imagine it being fun in the spring and summer. Since it was dark when I arrived I had a some trouble finding it but I'm sure in the daytime the signs are more visible. There was a space heater which was a life saver, plenty of towels and blankets and even a tiny bunk overhead that I didn't realize came with the place. The road is unpaved for a bit but my Honda Civic didn't have any problems, even with all the rain and puddles. There's plenty of parking on the property. Be prepared to walk to the port-a-potty in the middle of the night as it's on the other side of the property close to parking.

Tammy Sioux was very helpful and friendly and showed us around when we arrived. We were the only ones there that first night, but her area filled up the subsequent nights and there were a lot of people and not much privacy. Parking was a bit of an issue with that many people there. But, the place was easy to find, she had water, shower, toilet (portopotty), picnic tables and campfire grates for each site. Super quick to get into Joshua Tree and a very friendly host. Overall recommend highly!

Exceeded our expectations! Tammy was accommodating and helpful, and we really enjoyed the spot which was was closer than expected to the park entrance. Plus she DOES have hot water showers + electricity in the camper. Will definitely return.

SAGE camping deck was an amazing experience. You are located next to other camping decks, so it great for meeting new people. Tammy is very friendly and takes very good care of the site. 10/10 would definitely book this location again.

Great. Really great. Loads of cool seating areas. The sunset & stargazing was awesome. Didn’t use the pool or shower but they looked good to me. The porta loo was immaculate. No smell/bugs/grossness whatsoever. Consider that it may be too windy for a fire. ONE of the routes in is not a finished road & v bumpy. I was v glad I came in my truck not car at that point but there is another road. I think the Avocado campdeck is the better of the group. I would absolutely come back.

We had an amazing time at Pink Cloud Ranch. We went during the Perseid Meteor Shower and it was wonderful. I was really worried about the heat especially since we were traveling with my dog but with the unexpected breeze, the AC in the trailer, and the refreshing dip in the pool, it was a perfect desert weekend! Tammy was super responsive and very accommodating. She also let us give treats to the horses! We had a great time and immediately started planning our next trip back. Thanks Tammy for the hospitality!

First time using HipCamp for a quick night of camping! Tammy was awesome and greeted us when we pulled up. She showed us around a little bit, let us feed her horses, and then showed us our site which was nice and clean. Some of the amenities she had available for us were a portapotie (cleanest one I've ever been in), sink, multiple fire pits, an outdoor shower, a couple of hammocks, and plenty of seating around. All in all it was a great site and great experience.
