Offers basics with good bar food
We stayed at site 6 while in the area to visit Kings Canyon and Sequoia. There was a road closed while we were there so it took about 20-25 min to get to the Big Stump entrance. The site was very basic and mostly level which made for better sleeping in our tent. Linda provided a fold out table but no chairs, so I would recommend planning to bring some if you need them. There were a good bit of mosquitos and flys around but it was manageable with bug spray. Our favorite part was eating at the bar after a long day in the park! The food was really good and it was nice to hangout, listen to music and use the wifi.

Pinehurst Lodge Cabin
Fun glamping!
We had a great glamping experience at Pinehurst Lodge! It was rustic but perfect for our needs (two adults and five kids!) We appreciated the easy walk to the restaurant next door and they were very tolerant of our noisy crew.

Best Spot in Camp!
This is a nice little site with only a few spots for camping. I stayed there on a Friday and Sunday (because that Saturday night I was camping at a retreat in Sequoia). I was the only one there those nights and it was so quiet and relaxing. After walking around I decided this was definitely the BEST SPOT in the campground.
I was there during a heatwave, so there's not much you can do about that. But the shower helped! And the restaurant there was a good benefit. I cooked the first night, but the last night had a wonderful burger and fries.
The only drawback was that it was a long, winding road off the main highway into Kings Canyon. I would prefer something more convenient, though rural and rustic are my thing. (and I could have figured this out if I looked at the map better)
And there were a lot of mosquitoes!

Great spot close to the park
Awesome spot! We ended up pitching our tent on lot 5, because it seemed better for a tent. But the area is beautiful and Linda was awesome. There are two porta-potties and a tent shower with hot water, so everything you need. Three other parties were camping so we had good privacy. Really convenient spot if you're visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon.
The Pinehurst also makes some incredible burgers! We'll definitely be back!
