River Dome
It was a quaint place. It would’ve been nicer to be farther away from the road. We did not stay in the dome we stayed in the tent. It had everything you needed. I don’t think we got what we paid for. The price should be a little lower, it is just a tent and a cot.

The Perch is a magical getaway! Stunning river views pair perfectly with a cozy tent adorned with fairy lights, creating an enchanting vibe. We visited in May when the weather was perfect, falling asleep to the sounds of the river and waking to the songs of birds and the river’s ecosystem! We loved the privacy and well-designed communal spaces, like the outdoor kitchen and bathroom (very nice and clean!). River access via a short hike was a fantastic perk. Best of all, Jo and Ro’s hospitality made our stay unforgettable!

I loved camping at JoRo's land!
Perch Riverview Glamping will definitely be my choice for next time - it looked SO amazing and offered a view of the river from the bed itself and the interior looked oh so cozy, clean, and adorably designed. *I was staying at the campground alone so got a chance to look around. The kitchen and shower facilities also looked amazing.
The meadow was great, there was a lovely fire pit and outhouse. It wasn't the flattest meadow of all, but flat enough to be comfortable.
I didn't figure out how to access the river, but that's on me as I didn't ask. Also didn't see a difference between site 16 and 24.
The host was super responsive and gave great directions on how to get there as it is quiet tricky - just a little turnoff that's easy to miss.
I was a solo traveller and definitely felt safe here.

The host was the loveliest person and made me feel super comfortable upon entry since I was the only one on the site. The dome is beautiful, clean, and all the amenities you could need are on the site. Me and my dog had a lovely night under the stars.

We had a great experience at this glamping location. Out Host Johana was very kind and accommodative lady. We had very pleasant experience during April spring break. We had 2 young children and total 4 of us stayed in a single canvas tent facing meadow. The entire campsite was for us and only last night another family occupied another tent site. Host provided us all basic kitchen facilities, flush toilet, hot showers and even big kitchen sink with hot water, potable water, cooking pans and dishes! Only one thing to notice is entrance is very tricky to find. and it was quite muddy too! This muddy entrance gives an opportunity to wash your car thoroughly. otherwise the location is very scenic, very close to nature. serene and pristine on the bank of Trinity river. I will love to visit again.

We LOVED this place! Every detail has been thought of, down to the range of utensils provided in the kitchen and the toiletries provided in the gorgeous bathhouse. We were easily able to do all of our cooking on-site and freshen up after a long day hiking. The heater and cozy bedding kept us warm at night even through a rain/windstorm! Honestly, the listing photos don't do it justice! It is a little slice of heaven, complete with rope swings and a hammock. We highly recommend this spot for a true GLAMping experience that still feels connected to nature. While not immediately near some of the must-see sights in the region the beautiful mountain drive to Redwoods National Park and the coast didn't feel like a hassle at all. We are definitely planning to come back during warmer months to take full advantage of this beautiful place!

I had such a lovely stay with my kiddo this past week! Both hosts were so kind and generous.. even greeted us and helped us to our campsite when we arrived after dark. Had great communication throughout our stay- very sweet. Definitely recommend the river access super nearby, down by Candystick Park!

Super beautiful site! a bit hard to find the driveway (make sure to turn as soon as possible after the bridge) the hosts were very helpful and for an extra $20 we upgraded from car camping to the Yurt and it was extremely spacious and warm :)

Amazing time. We had the whole lot to ourselves and it was the best vibes. The little meadow was the perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful nature surrounding. Nobody bothered us, but the outhouse bucket was full when we arrived. I would recommend this place to other campers but probably not in the busy season, it would feel a big cramped.

I did not technically stay in the solo camper spot. It flooded and I was given a comp upgrade to a larger tent in the same area (spot 23).
The area is beautiful, and the site is peaceful (though, I was the only person occupying the row of tents). It is close enough to town to pop over if you need anything.
The site was pretty close to the road, and I could hear cars all night. This did not bother me at all, it was still quieter than home, but if you are noise sensitive maybe bring earplugs.

We had a fantastic weekend at this special spot. The amenities were perfect, the beds were super comfortable and the river was divine! Easy to get to, private, beautiful ,and spacious. We hope to go back!

The river view from the tent was amazing.
A little tricky to find, make sure you turn onto tiny dirt road right before the curved paved road.
Full kitchen has everything you need, I couldn’t find a strainer though so if you’re making pasta, bring one. Has two burner propane stove and an electric hot plate. Mini fridge and nice bathroom with hot shower.
There are little electric lanterns in the tent that give off plenty of light, ceiling lights in the bathroom. Towels provided.
There was a deer with her two babies hanging out near the site for awhile at dusk, very peaceful. The walk down to the river is a little steep but doable if no mobility issues, private lagoon is deep enough to submerge and float in. Traffic noise off in the distance, not too bad, quiet at night though and sounds of crickets and frogs and birds. Lots of areas and hammocks to sit and relax.

Just great! Great location just 3 minutes from town by car. Hike down to the river is steep but doable and there is a lovely hike down to the rock bar that is very private. Dome was great at night and we were very comfortable on the high end comfy mattress. Everything was clean and in working order. Thank you!

We booked RiverView glamping dome for memorial day weekend, after finding out there was nothing available on the coast. Had totally forgotten about Kinetic Sculpture race, an annual Humboldt County event every Memorial Day weekend.
What a stroke of luck! This little privately owned camping area is so quaint. There are actually two places to stay. The see-through dome with the perpetual sky view, and a larger canvas tent that has an amazing river view and a sweet little deck to hang out on. For our second night, we had our choice of either but opted to stay in the canvas tent because It had more space and the river view was so good!
Our host Johanna (Jo) Was very communicative and helpful with any questions we asked. On the second evening, she came to clean the bathroom facility and introduced herself and was very friendly. She even went so far as to make us a campfire! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.
The site has a shared bathroom, outdoor shower which is super groovy, and a functional kitchen with enough gear to cook simple meals. There are even some spices, etc. Including some coffee and creamer, which really saved the day! There are a lot of little touches that give this place character. Well done.
Overall, this was one of the best stays I have had On the road. I’m not really big on camping, but The Riverview glamping area is totally doable. And even if you are, it still feels like camping.

Evening about this location is perfect. It’s the perfect blend of camping & glamping. Nice to have the bathhouse with awesome outdoor shower! The fridge was a great bonus to store food. The dome was So fun to sleep in and the bed was comfortable! Our dog loved the address too. The hike to the lagoon is a bit of a trek but more than worth it! What an incredible way to spend the day in the Trinity River. The hosts thought of everything and probably more! We have bookmarked this spot as our new favorite go to and will absolutely be coming back. Having the site to ourselves is really what sold us, once there though the positive energy that this location holds is absolutely magical! At night the fairy lights start to come on in the campsite and it was a nice surprise!

Awesome site - everything you’d think for in terms of a Glamping experience! Bathroom had nice working hot water, electricity for cooking (if you want to over fire pit) and charging, and great bathroom. Fridge also clutch for storing cold water / food for the hot days. Few minute walk to river bank; great location for stargazing at night; town nearby if need last min supplies.
At night could hear occasional traffic and a neighbors generator humming. Open tent does mean that sunlight will wake you up early - have eye mask if you need more snooze past 6 am.

My wife and I spent our first hip camp ever at Riverview. .The hosts warned us that they were still under a bit of construction and we would be the first people staying there. The place was amazing. The bath room worked well and they Had a nice outdoor kitchen. . There was an amazing outdoor shower along with outdoor fire pits. The full moon rose over the mountains giving us a once in a lifetime view while shining on the River. Even under construction I would recommend this place to everyone. Hosts were kind and gracious and we Will be back for sure
