Peaceful Mountain Cabin
Gigi was an absolutely lovely host to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. She was incredibly accommodating and very helpful to us. She was communicative and provided plenty of resources on things to do in the area that we might enjoy. The cabin was lovely and had provided everything we needed to make our stay pleasant.

Peaceful and quiet . Gigi is a lovely respectful host.
She provided everything we needed and brought us extra blankets as the temperature dropped at night. We enjoyed visiting her farm animals and playing with her beautiful dogs. We especially liked that the cabin space was fenced and secure for our dogs,, they loved being off leash and free to roam around in a safe place. We were able to enjoy dinner cooked over a wood fire and the star viewing was amazing. We plan to visit again.

Peaceful Mountain Cabin
Gigi’s cabin was wonderful! It had everything you needed for a quick getaway from the city. Gigi was incredibly attentive and welcoming, everything was clean and in great shape - it made for a little home away from home. I’m already looking forward to booking this stay again in the future!

Our family of four enjoyed the hospitality of Gigi all of her friendly 4 legged friends. We visited James, her friend for horseback riding, archery and other outdoor fun activities. James' cost is modest and he is a GEM! Gigi has everything set up and ready for our arrival. Thank you and we want to be back every year!!! Truly and great getaway from the city.

Gigi was great! So close to Los Angeles, and yet it felt years away. Our family of four snuggled down in these two tiny rooms and spent the days building snow forts and hiking in the snow. Our dogs and kids raced around in the snow with huge smiles on their faces.

Gigi was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was perfect, and as described, and Gigi invited us to explore her beautiful property as much as we liked.
She also had some wonderful dogs, and a pig named Frankie, that our dog had an absolute blast playing with.
We highly recommend a stay at the ol' Peaceful Mountain Cabin!

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Gigi’s cabin. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the surrounding snow-covered mountains. Access to trails is decent: we did a 6-mile hike to a waterfall that’s only a 10-minutes drive from the cabin. We also ventured further to Pine Mountain Club for a hike with stellar views. Note that in the winter time, many hikes are closed due to snow or require 4WD to access. As for the cabin, it was a bit smaller than expected. Navigating the kitchenette in the bathroom proved difficult sometimes, but was otherwise fine for a short stay. We loved all the horse and ranch motifs throughout the cabin, and Gigi’s puppies were also so sweet.

Fun experience at Gigi’s place. It was my wife and son with our two dogs. Gigi showed us around and also around the outside of her place. We were able to meet her dogs and see her chickens and goats. Gigi referred us to a person two miles away to go horseback riding. We had a good experience.

Staying at Gigi’s was fantastic! It suits our style, simple, minimal, and peaceful. There is something about staying in a beautiful and rustic place that fills your heart, and that’s what happened in our time there.
We didn’t do much and it was great. Some time walking and exploring, some time looking at the stars, watching the sunrise, reading by the fire, taking a hike, and watching a few movies. It was good for my soul and my wife’s soul. A breath of fresh air in so many ways.

Peaceful mountain cabin lives up to its name. If you just listen, you can hear the wind thought the trees, the warmth of the sun waking up your senses, the pitter patter of dogs approaching. The roosters wake up call. Right before bed time a shower of twinkling stars.
Gigi, was welcoming and approachable for anything that might be needed, her dogs were friendly and it was nice to see the other farm animals on her property.
You will find the comforts of home, with a hot plate, small fridge, coffee pot, heater, kitchen amenities, a full bathroom. Plus a separate entertainment room with TV, DVDs, and a couch to lounge.
Definitely recommend as a peaceful retreat.

The place itself is super cute. Nice little cabin. It is very close to the main house, you feel a little like you are in their front lawn but there is a privacy fence but still a bit odd. We had to leave the night we arrived because something came up but we weren’t bummed to leave because it was so loud. From the moment we got there and the two hours we were there, there was VERY loud screamo/dubstep music playing and then a bunch of what I’m assuming dirt bikes riding nonstop. It wasn’t a peaceful calm visit but maybe it was just that one night. If it was actually quiet maybe it would be more enjoyable but it wasn’t a fit for us. The host though Gigi was great and very responsive.

Gigi was an ideal host! So kind, accommodating, welcoming, and available. The land was gorgeous, and when we woke up to a surprise snowfall, Gigi made sure we had all we needed to be warm and cozy. There was plenty of privacy and space to run around with our dog, Hazel, and we loved visiting the adorable and curious farm animals. We will definitely be back - hopefully in spring to meet some baby goats! Thank you Gigi!!

Perfect quick getaway from LA. A sanctuary just 90 minutes away. Gigi was an amazing host, super communicative prior to our visit and incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The property is cozy and perfect for a solo trip or couple of friends. Our pups got along with hers and especially loved the pig Frances who came to visit us. Great hiking close by as well. Definitely will be back

Gigi was amazing and the property was gorgeous. Upon arrival she greeted us and the next morning she even gave us some fresh eggs! Bonus - her dogs are adorable and friendly. The cabin was cute and cozy - exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I had an amazing time.

Gigi’s place was great! We had such a nice time. There is a waterfall hike super close by. She has two dogs that are really fun to hang around with (very old and calm!) and there is a bbq to cook with and a nice spot for a fire with some kindling which was very helpful.
Thanks gigi! Definitely will come back.

Gigi was very nice and opened up her property to us. The little setup she had for visitors was private and had all the necessary ammenities to go glamping. Great scenery outside the dwelling and great hiking nearby. A nice little quick getaway.

What a beautiful and peaceful retreat Gigi has created! Looking for a quiet getaway for my birthday and it was exactly what we were looking for. Gigi was a great host, and even prepared for us fresh eggs from her chickens, and smores to prepare with a campfire. The stargazing was unreal! I can't wait to go back and visit again. Thanks Gigi!

100% what we were looking for: a rustic, beautiful getaway from the city to relax and enjoy a campfire while still getting the niceties of a bed and running water. Would DEFINITELY go again!

The perfect weekend getaway! This rustic cabin was the perfect place to escape from the city for a weekend. Fire pit and outdoor grill made for a great hang out area. Gigi was a great host and would definitely come back!

Peaceful mountain cabin is exactly as described. The property and host was very accommodating. My husband and three dogs enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to go back with our kids. We also had an amazing time with the neighbor doing archery and spear throwing on horses. This past weekend will forever be memorable and we can’t stop bragging of all the fun we had. Thank you!
