Your cooking supplies, stoves, barbeque and dinnerwares are inclusive! Located in a serene oakwood grove area, our private campground offers a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside. We're only 11 minutes away from Mount Madonna State Park and just 10 minutes from a local healthy grocery store and yoga studio. The beautiful Pajaro Dunes coastal area is just a 15-minute drive away, and the Santa Cruz Fairground is only two minutes away. Our location is surrounded by family friendly farms such as Gizdich ranch and nurseries, hence why it's considered the salad bowl of the United States. The Santa Cruz beaches are only 15-25 minutes away, while Monterey Bay Aquarium is just 30 minutes away and Gilroy Gardens is about 25 minutes away. The wine trail is also nearby. There are plenty of activities to enjoy nearby, including horseback riding at Mount Madonna Stable, Mount Madonna Retreat Center, hiking at Mount Madonna State Park, wine tastings at various wineries with stunning views, kayaking at Elkhorn Slough or any beaches, yoga at Watsonville Yoga or onsite, swimming, scuba diving in Monterey, visiting the Hanoman temple at Mount Madonna retreat center, and attending any events at the Santa Cruz Fairground. Camping at its best with all of your cooking supplies and dinnerware provided for. No need to bring your sleeping bags and bedding. We got you covered! The campground is sheltered by oak trees and tucked in behind a hillside. The breeze from the ocean in the afternoon reminds you what's like to feel alive and the sunset is beautiful here. 2 friendly horses live here: Rosie and Jack. Please come by and say Hello to them. This was a great little spot! Very busy on the weekends, but during the week - nice and quiet. The spaces are nice and large, it easily fit our 8 person tent and all of our outdoor accessories. The common kitchen area had everything you would need if you don’t have your own cooking equipment. The camp managers were great and very helpful. The bathrooms were awesome (actual toilets!) and the showers were good, but not great. My only complaint is regarding noise. The fairgrounds are close (you can hear music, and the racetrack) well into the night. Also, it must be under a very popular flight path because you can hear airplanes as well. Additionally, there is a note about no barking dogs being allowed, but there are barking dogs on and around the property.

Not private but lots of accommodati
There was definitely quite a bit of accommodations. As many reviews stated, the hot showers were phenomenal. The available kitchen supplies were great. Julie was available whenever we needed things. The heater in the tent was fantastic as well. However. . .please be aware that it does not feel like secluded camping. We could hear the race cars on the speedway most nights. From our tent you could see three different homes. One night, a home played loud music for a while. I just want to be sure people understand it's literally surrounded by people's back yards vibe.

Admirable Tipi Tent
Cute low-effort camping spot
I loved this camp! Super cute area and tent was set up comfortably. Everything was clean and the bathroom/kitchen area was well stocked. It is not in an area where you can really go on a walk without driving, but the Mt Madonna State Park is 10 min away. Overall, a great trip.

Admirable Tipi Tent
Great amenities and community spot
A beautiful spot with excellent amenities. I settled into my tent and enjoyed a rest in the hammock before a HOT private shower. This is a great spot to camp with a group as it is easy to cook, enjoy a fire, and have community. That being said, if you are looking for privacy or quiet, the closeness of the tents don't provide that, but it just depends what you are looking for. I lost service on my way up the mountain (not a problem at the camp site) so be sure to screenshot directions and host notes which make it easy to find. Overall good spot with comfortable cots and nice decorations.
