Shaun was an absolutely amazing host!!! He made sure we made it safely there since we arrived later at night, checked in on us in the morning, gave us great recommendations, took us on a tour of the property, gave our girls some crafts to enjoy, and supplied us with firewood for a campfire. Patti's Oaks is a stunning, magical, calming oasis that is surrounded by so much beauty!! Shaun is doing a phenomenal job of keeping it in great condition and has amazing plans to make it even better. We enjoyed ourselves so much and already planning our next trip back!! What a true treasure of a place!! So close to the beach, shops, etc while feeling like you're away in nature.

Me and my 2 boys had a blast camping here! The kids loved the trampoline and Shaun turned on the sprinklers for them to play in. Shaun was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Had a fire going all night and made some fun memories. A really cool property with some exploring to do. My kids loved searching for frogs and other "Forrest" critters. We will definitely be back. It was a nice escape from the city.

Shaun's level of communication were second to none. We booked our stay about a month ahead of time. He was clear about what was around, offered beach toys for the little ones. And even on the day of check in was in contact the whole time. Easy to find place. And the hospitality was incredible. The place was cool, there was water running in the back that created a great ambiance. Full disclosure, we didn't camp over night. We went for a sibling reunion. 3 of us, a couple kids and our significant others. Plenty of room for the crows BTW. However, the primary residence is closer than a couple of the others were comfortable with. (They didn't know hipcamp was camping in backyards sometimes lol.)
If it were just me and my brother, we wouldn't have been bothered. Shaun was completely understanding and accommodating in regards to the situation and made it right. I can't say how much I appreciate that, and everything he did to be as communicative and hospitable as one could be. If ever back in the area looking to camp, I'd go back!

We stayed over the memorial weekend and my kids did have lots of fun staying there! Our site was by the cliff and it was the best site, looking right into nature. We were kindly offered to keep a trampoline by our site and it was a hit right away, and a swing hung from an oak tree was so much fun for the kids too. Very nice overall experience! 👌

Had a great weekend camping, Shaun was super responsive both prior to the trip and while I was on site to all my requests. He was very accommodating.

As soon as we got there, we realized this was someone's backyard. That particular detail hadn't been mentioned in the reviews... nevertheless, Shawn was a great host and was very helpful. With a little work and some love, this place could become something really special.

Camping at Patti Oak’s was great! Shaun’s hospitality was amazing and my friends I loved his dogs :)) The campsite itself was great and we had a perfect campfire. Shaun checked up on us and made sure we had everything we could ever need. Highly recommend staying here!

Shaun was very responsive and easy to communicate. Went extra mile to make sure we were all set and kept his word by providing a new fire pit and solid fire woods to start so we could enjoy piece of his land surrounded by nature at evening time also.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Patti oaks, and it was so beautiful! We set up our tent right near the water, and we heard the frogs at night, but not in an annoying way. I wish I was able to post some pictures that I took of the land, it was so green and if you go down a trail there is a gorgeous water stream! Shawn was nice and really helpful, we had forgotten a spatula, and he responded to my message right away and let us borrow one. The fire pit came with the land, and it was nice having a fire at night. The road was flat and easy to dive on. I highly recommend going to Patti Oaks!

Super awesome host, beautiful setting, and very cute dog named lulu:). The area was quiet and secure and resources were provided for us to make our experience twice as great. Would highly recommend!!!

My friends and I had a really great experience visiting Patti oaks!!! The location and nature was beautiful and the Host was very helpful, and respectful and made us feel very welcomed. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable secure location to camp at. Thanks again for having us!!!
