First, unless you have a self-contained rig with A/C, I would not recommend camping here in the heat of the summer since there is little to no shade. That said, we really enjoyed our stay. We do not have a self-contained rig and it was HOT, but the site was clean, level and had water and electricity. We used the electricity for our fridge and had running water for our tank. Our camper does not have a toilet, so we cart our own... thank goodness. The host does have a "pit toilet" on site, but there is no door and it is in the direct sun; the view, however, is amazing. Ernie, the host, was welcoming and loaned us a 50 to 30 amp converter, which we greatly appreciated. The site is very quiet, beautiful sunsets, and lots of wild turkeys. Roads to get to the property can be narrow, steep and winding, but very light traffic. Wineries are nearby and we appreciated that.
We will visit again when the temperatures are cooler. Thank you, Ernie.
