Ossia Farm was awesome! My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights. Dar was an awesome host--we enjoyed the 'treble clef' layout of the farm (search it on Google Maps!). We tented near the middle of the property and woke up to the sounds of singing birds, chickens, goats, and nearby horses and cows each morning. We took part in the morning feeding of the goats and cows which was great. The bathrooms were clean, and the outdoor kitchen space was fun. We enjoyed the shared campfire in the evenings. The area is a short drive from the beach and forests--you could easily do both in a day and then some.
We look forward to returning in the future and seeing how Ossia Farm has continued to evolve!

Loved our stay! Don't hesitate to book. Communication with Hanya was excellent. Dar was the most welcoming host with an incredibly generous spirit and contagious passion for his work on the farm. My son and I had a wonderful experience and we will be back!

We stayed in the Hydrangea Dome and absolutely loved it! There was so much more included than what we prepared for from other pictures. There was a large picnic table and a cute little community kitchen/sink near the fireplace that had both tap and filtered drinking water and some extra supplies. The view of the sunset was gorgeous and I enjoyed being able to walk around to see and pet the animals! The dome itself had a mini fridge/freezer, a little heater, a couch, and even a cute hammock. They added little details like fresh flowers in the dome and in the bathroom for us from their garden! It was a great stay and we would absolutely be back! My only small complaint is that although the windows are great for letting in the morning light, it definitely made us feel as though we were lacking some privacy especially at night. They blocked off the windows facing the community area but if there are other people using the back property behind you and they need to use the bathroom, it can feel a bit exposed. Still was a great place and would highly recommend!!

The farm was large and covered with flowers. Dar, the host, helped us get settled and showed us around. We had lots of space to ourselves. There was a bathroom building with electricity, two toilets and a shower. There’s an outdoor communal kitchen space and a fire pit. We sat and enjoyed the farm and watched the sunset. Super peaceful.

This place was AMAZING! The facilities (chargers, shower, kitchen, etc) were amazing for camping and the farm itself was so beautiful I loved getting to meet all of the animals! The host was so awesome and great to talk to- would recommend to anyone!

If I could rate this a 10/5 I would. We loved our time there. The farm hand was so welcoming and made the experience amazing. The cows were so friendly, even highland cows, and we got to feed them some fresh veggies. There were so many great amenities with running water, flushing toilets, a shower, and great cooking set up. Blooming flowers and growing gardens all over made it feel magical, and we got some farm fresh eggs. Also, great tent spots to set up in. I will absolutely be back next time I’m in the area!

Such a peaceful stay with such a kind and generous host! The land is beautiful, the farm animals are such a joy, and Dar was so helpful, kind, and fun to learn from. Really appreciated the sweet animal interactions, stocked kitchenette, and nice clean hot showers. Highly recommend and hope to return!

Dar & the Ossia Farmstead are magical! We had the opportunity to walk around this beautiful piece of land, feed the various farm animals, and stay in the dome. Dar was very knowledgable about the land and so generous. He answered all our questions and even gave us some fresh eggs for the road :) Could not recommend this place enough!!

This is truly such a gem! From all of the sweet animals, being able to feed the cows, to the host’s hospitality and joy, to the flushing toilets, shower, and running water, it is truly the perfect glamping spot. We were graciously offered fresh berries, and fresh baked bread. We wished we could’ve stayed more than just one night!

Ossia Village Farm is a great place to stay.
Dar, who is the host, showed us around the dynamic organic farm and let us feed the Scottish Highland cattle on a neighboring lot. Dar is generous with his time and his mom's soda bread is delicious. The camp site is clean and the restrooms are well maintained. This was our second trip there and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolute great experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. Ossia is such a beautiful property with the friendliest animals and farm manager. It’s conveniently close enough to the city but still tucked away in the woods to get a “roughing it” type of feel. The vibe of the farm promotes a sense of belonging— there’s a bonding with neighboring campers when in the communal areas and tending to the animals throughout the day.

Our stay was nothing short of magical. Our host was kind, giving, and helpful. The animals and gardens were are friends for the day. A great kitchen and bathroom set up. The location is close to miraculous forests and beaches. Thank you for a great authentic camp. It was a great start to our trip!

We had such a great stay at Ossia Farm! We were the only ones there at the time and Dar was so generous and over-the-top accommodating! We had a great time exploring the redwoods at the egde of the property, hanging out with all the animals, and feeding the scottish highland cows that live next door. Dar even gifted us a box of fresh eggs on our way out. A magical place indeed, and we hope to return again one day!

We had the best time! We adventured in the redwoods all day and then came back to the farm to rest, have dinner, and sleep. Our 3 year old loved the fire pit, getting to run around on the lawn, and feeding all of the animals. Dar was incredible. The sweetest host and let our daughter help out with misc farm chores. We felt so lucky to be there and can’t wait to come back again soon!

Ossia was a serene and wonderful spot to park my van overnight. Hanya was easy to communicate with and provided clear instructions. Dar was so welcoming, he gave me a tour of the farm and amenities, discussed the farming practices when I inquired, and asked if I would like to feed the animals (of course!). I loved meeting and getting to know the different animals and was able to spend such a peaceful night in my van. This site has everything you could need and Dar was very generous - he sent me on my way with some fresh duck eggs to try! I will definitely be back over the summer to experience the farm in full bloom.

Hanya was very responsive and Dar was an amazing host! We arrived late afternoon and spent a few hours hanging out with the animals. Dar made sure we had everything we needed! Since we were there in the offseason we will be going back to see the property when it’s in full bloom. And the animals of course! We were driving back to Portland so drove along the Smith River on the way home…stunning! Highly recommend this property.

I loved being in the midst of so many animals; cows, sheep, goats, geese, chickens and lots of wild visiting birds. It was simple and peaceful. Dar was an accommodating host.

Ossia village felt like one of the most serene and intentionally curated spaces I've ever been in. There were paths filled with colorful blooms and friendly animals everywhere. The weekend I spent there was an absolute retreat and I left feeling recharged and inspired. The facilities were clean, well stocked, and provided a 'glamping' like experience. Dar was a wonderful host and I loved learning about the projects going on at Ossia and in the larger community. He also gave amazing recommendations for places to explore in nature around Crescent City. I so look forward to returning again soon. Thank you so much Dar and Hanya.

We had an extremely lovely time at Ossia. Dar the farm manager took such good care of us and was extremely welcoming and generous. We loved feeding the neighbor’s cows and exploring the gardens. The outdoor kitchen was great and well equipped and the shower was amazing! We will definitely be back :)
