The stay here was great! Had the whole site to ourselves on a gorgeous clear night. The gazebo had very comfy chairs to look at the stars and the dawn on the hills was spectacular.

Paso sunset in the vineyards
Glamping!!! The bathrooms were clean! The lot was flat and well maintained. Views were incredible, especially of the sunset up the hill! Host was really friendly and swung by as we arrived to make sure all questions were answered

What a great spot! Very peaceful with nice evening breezes and gorgeous views. Even saw 2 bald eagles circling above. Remote but close enough to town. A favorite hip camp so far! Thanks Lauren and Ron!

Beautiful site. Quiet. One of the best hipcamps we've stayed at. Lauren, our host, greeted us, kiddies and puppy in tow then we were left alone to enjoy the beauty and solitude. Lily. Our dog loved being off leash. The clean flush toilets were a bonus. We give it 5 stars!

Big open space, spooky but nice!
Ron and Lauren's land was amazing. I stayed on a Monday night during the super moon, it was gorgeous. It's a wide open space that's also a venue, and I was all by myself with no other campers, so because of that, it was a bit spooky. And the breeze that comes up the sides of the hill also made the tent wiggle creepily - I felt I had lots of privacy but if you're going alone for the first time, I'd advise to find a small corner to nestle yourself. There were deer that walked by, and if the moon wasn't so bright, the wide open space makes it possible to see all the beautiful stars. Bathroom was clean, check-in was awesome, it's about 15 mins to a nice steak dinner if you're coming unprepared.
Also, per Lauren's rec, I hiked up to the top of the hill and saw nice panoramic view of the countryside at sunrise. All in all a nice little spontaneous stop for me on my Bay-to-OC commute.

The location and drive up to the camp ground were absolutely beautiful! I will say that the camping sites and the cleanliness of the bathrooms were a let down. The cobblestone circles were overgrown and unusable so we were instructed to set up camp in what I assume was the parking lot. Still nice but not the privacy we were hoping for. The bathrooms were covered in bird and mouse droppings. We brought it up to the host at the beginning of our stay but nothing came of it. Admittedly, I am a bit of a clean freak so maybe it bothered me more than it would others.
