Warmed by the bright sun in southern California, The Joshua Tree Pistachio Company award winning pistachios and wines were once grown here at E&J Orchid. This family hobby farm is the site of Joshua Tree's oldest producing pistachio groves.
The Bolline family started their 20 acre hobby pistachio orchard in 1979. The farm once contained hundreds of trees, sadly after the loss of the family patriarch in the early 1990's the Orchid fell back in mother natures hands and the second generation pistachio farmers (The daughter & son in law of the Italian immigrant entrepreneur - farmers) plan to restore the remaining trees and vineyard back to its former glory. The perimeter of the property will be re - lined with acres of grapes (table & wine) are also grown at the JT Pistachio company and several different varieties of wine are known to be made from time to time at the JT Pistachio Company Winery on site. Hoping to re-launch the hobby orchard sometime in the near future. The JT Pistachio company currently offers a wide variety of Eco-tourism options from short term day trips to long term monthly options.

Future plans include construction of country store featuring pistachios, pistachio candies and wines all grown and made on site. We will also offer gourmet foods, souvenirs, t-shirts and ice cream. Guests will be able to shop, tour the orchard, enjoy free samples of wine and pistachios.
