All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Enjoy unrivaled privacy and immersion in nature at our private campground featuring a large deck with a large canvas tent and unbelievable views! Enjoy the amazing deck with picnic tables, porch swings, and amazing sunsets. A communal fire pit sits next to the deck. Cook whatever you desire in our fully appointed outdoor camp kitchen with all the utensils you need to cook, eat, and clean, including running potable water, double sink, gas BBQ, 2 burner stove, and 8ft granite counter top. Drinking water is available in 5 gallon jugs that come directly from our spring-fed well and are setup around the kitchen area. Explore trails through the forest and relax along the year round creek with great resting rocks and small dunking pools. Rustic outdoor shower and composting toilet outhouse, as well as 2 porto potty toilets available for your use. Don't forget to check out the Extras - we have a 22Ft Travel Trailer, 10x10 Canvas Kodiak Tent, and essentials like camp chairs, sleeping cots, and firewood to help make the trip easy and Extra special for your group. We're just 3 miles from Malikoff Diggins State Park and around 30 minutes to Oregon Creek swimming hole and two great swimming spots along the Yuba River. Mountain bike down into Malikoff Diggins State Park, or take a short drive to one of the great swimming holes. Note: we say 4WD recommended. It is NOT AT ALL required, small sedans get here all the time. Just know that you'll be driving around 3 miles on a dirt logging road and then a half mile on a small forest road that leads into the property. It's easily traversable by most vehicles. Trucks, SUVs, small crossovers, etc, are preferred, and low to the ground sedans are NOT recommended. ALSO: We are a completely off grid campground. We have minimal solar and battery power for Starlink and charging devices like phones, small bluetooth speakers, etc. But we do NOT have refrigeration or general electricity for powering large electronics. If you plan to bring anything that requires significant power, you will need to bring your own generator. We have tiki torches that take citronella fuel, feel free to bring citronella oil, if you would like to use them. We don’t provide personal things like bug spray, sunscreen, and citronella oil.Glamp in our 10x14 Canvas tent and have your friends set up tents next to you on the deck or at one of a plethora of great adjacent tent sites, all just a short walk from the large deck with amazing views across the valley, incredible sunsets, and communal kitchen and dining area. Explore hiking trails down to a cool hangout spot on Humbug creek, which runs through the bottom of the property. Enjoy our fully appointed outdoor camp kitchen and please feel free to place your food, coolers, and sundries in our insulated 40 ft shipping container immediately adjacent to the communal kitchen. Otherwise, please keep all food in your car or the red bear proof container at your campsite. Come enjoy time with family and friends, play games at the picnic tables or just take in the panoramic views from the deck. Explore the trail through the forest down to Humbug Creek, relax in our shaded hammock garden in the tall trees, or just enjoy the privacy as you commune with nature. You are booking the entire campground and will have the place to yourself. On site contact: Jason: [xxxxxxxx] (text or call)
