Beautiful campsite, amazing trees! Also great showers.. only was here one night, wish we could have stayed longer. Campsites were more private than I thought they would be and large in size.

Great place to stay in Redwoods! We tent camped for two nights at Mystic Forest, and the entire site is great. Checkin was easy and friendly. The tent camping area is in a beautiful forested area, with an easy walk to the bathroom and other amenities. The location is great - midway between the state and national parks, making spending several days in the Redwoods area a breeze. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Easy to find campsite, tucked away amidst trees that look like the Hoh rainforest, and nestled next to the Sol Duc river. There was some partying from campsites at the other end of the property but nothing that kept us up at night. Bathrooms (portapotty) were impeccably clean!! Rachel is a super inviting host and the price of firewood was great. The umbrellas over the picnic tables are a helpful touch. Would stay here again.

This place was great! The tent site #11 is cheaper for a reason. There's tree roots you can stumble over in the dark but if you're careful it's fine. It's a little small but enough room for two tents! The bathrooms were a little distance but easy to find. The hosts were so nice! We wound up staying another night and had to move sites but we were okay with that. That site, #7 was better but further from the bathrooms. There's no cell service so you'll have to cross the street to get wifi if you need it. They sell wood and ice for a great price!

Mystic Forest was fantastic! They had clean restrooms and hot water. I couldn’t believe that they also had mini-golf and a game room. The host was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back and see more of the Redwoods.

Mystic Forest is a really sweet RV camping spot. There are a few tent spaces that were somewhat private. The woman who runs the place is very helpful, telling us where we might hike with our dog. The bathrooms are clean, there's an enclosed area for off leash dogs and a game room for kids. The location is also perfectly placed between two National/state parks.

We stayed in Birdie two nights and loved it. The camper was clean, stocked with extra towels and blankets, and right next to an awesome redwood. Patrick was fantastic and told us all about the redwood forest history. Very welcoming. This is a great spot with close hikes and breathtaking views of the beach and forest. We did the damnation trail and saw a few sunsets at the beaches right around the corner from the camp.

I loved tent camping at Mystic Forest! The bathrooms/showers were clean, and the grounds were well cared for. They have a nice little hiking trail and a tree stump we could walk through. The best thing about Mystic Forest, however, is the people. Patrick checked us in, and he treated us like treasured guests. We can't wait to go back :)

We had an amazing time camping in the forest beside the crackling fire and looking through the tree canopy at the nighttime sky. Patrick and his wife are awesome and very helpful also.

We loved staying here! Beautiful woodsy site, quiet, clean bathrooms with free warm showers, a dog run and short trail, little store with firewood, and lovely hosts. Store your food in the car to avoid bears and other critters. 5 min from beautiful beaches, 30 min from Jedediah Smith Redwood Park.

First time in the redwoods and it was beautiful. Hosts were kind. There was unfortunately a lot of RVs and the smell of their black tanks was wafting over to our site, we decided to burn a fire to mask the 💩 smells.

Super friendly folks and good deal. but for all the warning about taking trash every night to the dumpster, the dumpster was overflowing for days and a little smelly. Bathrooms and showers fine but not that clean.

Such a lovely campground! Patrick was kind, patient, informative, and relaxed. A very family friendly environment, with amenities as described. While in the campground there wasn’t service, you could catch a bar or two out near the lobby/road if you needed to make a phone call.

This is my second time staying at Mystic Forest. Patrick is such a great host and we enjoyed the game room and played some mini golf. We appreciated how close the campground was to the beach. Definitely recommend Mystic Forest Campground!

Really amazing spot to tent camp! Patrick was incredibly nice to us and helpful. The campsites are gorgeous, multiple water spouts, hot showers, playgrounds, a game room, mini golf, and a really cool tree that was struck by lightning you can walk through. This place is also very close to the mystical forest. Highly recommend!

The hosts were so helpful and friendly!
The site itself was magical. We were tucked up against the forest and away from the majority of the other campsites. Our rooftop tent setup wouldn’t fit into the actual site but since we were the last site on the road, we set up in the “cul de sac”. Worked out great.
Clean bathrooms & the dish washing station was a nice addition.
Would love to stay again if we’re ever in the area!

We LOVED this private campground. The gift shop has an espresso bar. The tent sites are well removed from the RVs. The free hot showers were nice. The water spigots have potable, caffeine-free, cold, and delicious water. It's 5 minutes to a lovely beach and an amazing trailhead. I'll be back.

We absolutely loved Mystic Forest! It is our new spot for our annual redwoods trip. Can't wait to come back next year.
The campground was just what we were looking for and the family who runs it is fantastic. Thanks so much!
A beautiful forested Campground right off 101, with hot showers and flush toilets and some fun stuff. We camped inside number 15, with two tents. It was spacious and grassy and surrounded by trees and we got to have a campfire.
Love the location too, it's so close to everything we wanted to do.
