Easy to find campsite, tucked away amidst trees that look like the Hoh rainforest, and nestled next to the Sol Duc river. There was some partying from campsites at the other end of the property but nothing that kept us up at night. Bathrooms (portapotty) were impeccably clean!! Rachel is a super inviting host and the price of firewood was great. The umbrellas over the picnic tables are a helpful touch. Would stay here again.

Mystic Forest was fantastic! They had clean restrooms and hot water. I couldn’t believe that they also had mini-golf and a game room. The host was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back and see more of the Redwoods.

First time in the redwoods and it was beautiful. Hosts were kind. There was unfortunately a lot of RVs and the smell of their black tanks was wafting over to our site, we decided to burn a fire to mask the 💩 smells.

Super friendly folks and good deal. but for all the warning about taking trash every night to the dumpster, the dumpster was overflowing for days and a little smelly. Bathrooms and showers fine but not that clean.

Such a lovely campground! Patrick was kind, patient, informative, and relaxed. A very family friendly environment, with amenities as described. While in the campground there wasn’t service, you could catch a bar or two out near the lobby/road if you needed to make a phone call.

The hosts were so helpful and friendly!
The site itself was magical. We were tucked up against the forest and away from the majority of the other campsites. Our rooftop tent setup wouldn’t fit into the actual site but since we were the last site on the road, we set up in the “cul de sac”. Worked out great.
Clean bathrooms & the dish washing station was a nice addition.
Would love to stay again if we’re ever in the area!

We LOVED this private campground. The gift shop has an espresso bar. The tent sites are well removed from the RVs. The free hot showers were nice. The water spigots have potable, caffeine-free, cold, and delicious water. It's 5 minutes to a lovely beach and an amazing trailhead. I'll be back.

Great tent camping near the redwood forests. #22 is secluded and a small walk but nice for privacy. We enjoyed it. Bathrooms are well kept and showers hot. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Only thing which is probably to be expected with Rv’s also on the premises is the occasional smell in the mornings but was not enough to detract from the experience

I absolutely loved my stay at tent site #12. It was the perfect combination of feeling surrounded by nature in a large private camping space, but also with very easy access just a short walk away to an amazing hot shower and other fun amenities like a game room and cute campground store. The campground was pretty full while I was there, but there was never a wait to use the shower and it never felt super busy. I saw lots of very happy families enjoying their time there. The campground hosts are helpful and very nice people, I definitely would come back!!

I stayed at campsite #22. It was at the end of all the tentsites. The site was cozy surrounded by forest so I had my privacy. The site has a fire pit and picnic table. The campground had all the amenities - potable water, bathroom, showers, laundry and even a game room plus the wifi. Although, the wifi does not cover the tentsite but it was fine, if one needs only to do a tech detox once for a while. The office house had a gift shop which also has some snacks and drinks. Overall, I loved this camground - tucked right in the heart of the Redwood NP! I am looking forward to visit the park and again and stay at the campground ⛺️ in future!

What a fantastic place to stay! Lots of things for the kids to do around camp and the tent spots were separate from the Rv / trailer spots. I hate tent camping on a baron spot designed for trailers. Add to that no generators and I was able to tent camp and not even know there were trailers just around the loop.
Also, the folks who run it were super awesome! I just can’t say enough!
We will for sure be back. Please try to keep tent spot 15 open for us ;-) lol

Our time at Mystic Forest ended much too soon! The campground is gorgeous, with a wonderful walking trail that goes across the back of the property. Our site, #8 was phenomenal with the walk through redwood tree that a small bird calls home was incredible! The tent sites feel secluded and tucked away in the trees. Should find ourselves close to Klamath again, we would love to be back. Thank you Patrick!

I tent camped at Tentsite 3 from June 15–19 with my dog, and it was such a cozy and peaceful stay. The campground is surrounded by stunning trees, and you can hear birds all day — it truly feels like you’re immersed in nature. Water access was close to the site, and they have bathrooms, showers, and even laundry, which was super convenient.
What I loved most was the sound of birds and the way the trees swayed with the wind — so calming and magical. Patrick was friendly and check-in was smooth. It’s the perfect base for exploring the Redwoods, including Fern Canyon and Lady Bird Johnson Grove. Highly recommend if you want to relax and reconnect with nature!

Overall had a great experience as it’s a lovely campground with lots of amenities but the hosts need to address issues with their septic system. The campground sites closest to the RV area and septic system/leech field had the smell of sewage in the air. It was very unpleasant. We tried to burn incense to cover it up, to no avail.

Host was wonderful, kind, friendly, accommodating. Unfortunately he can do nothing about the very loud highway noise. In an RV it might be OK but the tent sites are near the road and it’s very very loud.

Patrick is a friendly host. I’ve never stayed at an RV park before. The tent side feels like a nicely maintained campground. Lots of amenities if you need it, or you can stay off the grid if you don’t.
