Mystic Forest is a small, family-run campground between Klamath, CA, and Crescent City. We have 50 acres of beautiful forest sprinkled with redwood trees. We have restrooms, showers, laundry facility, a game room, a mini golf course, horseshoes, and a half-mile trail. We are pet-friendly. At the office you can find some grocery and redwoods souvenirs.

This is a cozy, smaller size tent site, under some redwood trees. The picnic table is on one end and you can pitch your tent on the other side of the site. Parking is right there at the site. Not fully secluded but does have some bushes here and there. If you are coming with another family, tent site #5 is adjacent to #9 and #13.

Beautiful, flat, surrounded by trees tent site. Tent site #8 has a huge hallow redwood tree, you can walk through it. Hot showers are included. We have a game room (billiards, ping pong, foosball), a mini golf, horseshoes and a half-mile trail in the forest. We are pet-friendly, though no wood scavenging. At the office we have some very basic grocery. A 4 or 6 person tent will fit but bigger tent won't fit because of the roots. If you have a bigger tent, you may want to take a look at sites #7, 12, 15, 16, 21 or 22. This site is right next to #10, so if you are coming with another family or have a bigger group please ask us if #10 is available.

Little, cozy site in the forest. Park right at the site. There is a fire pit, a picnic table and beautiful trees all around, including redwoods. If you have a regular size tent you'll be fine but if you have a bigger tent, you should look at sites #7, 12, 15, 16, 21 or 22. Tent site #11 is adjacent to tent site #13, something to keep in mind if you are traveling with another family or a bigger group. This site is a little cheaper than the other ones because it is smaller.

The site is suitable for tent camping only, not the best pick for van camping simply because of the way the site is laid out. The site has some trees and bushes surrounding it but is not fully secluded. 19B is a no-campfire site (we only have 2 sites that are no-campfire sites, this one and tent site #16B, all other sites you can make a campfire at unless we have a ban). Standard 4-person tents will fit in there. There is a picnic table. You can park right at the site. This site is cheaper because it's a no-campfire site and it is small.

Puma is a 2-bedroom, 6-person RV that we rent out for onsite lodging. A/C, heat, restroom with a shower, fully stocked kitchen with stove and oven, picnic table and fire pit. All linens, sheets and towels, plus blankets are provided. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has 3 bunk beds plus a pull-out sofa (2 adults + 2 kids or 4 kids could sleep in that room). Total, the Puma could comfortably have 4 adults plus 2-3 kids or 2 adults and 5 kids. 5 adults wouldn't be comfortable. Currently located in a beautiful, secluded spot in the forest. It is next to Birdie The RV, our second RV for rent, something to keep in mind if you are traveling with another family or a bigger group.

She’s an oldie but goodie, she is clean and freshly painted on the inside. Birdie is a 1996 motorhome. She has a full bathroom and a small but fully stocked kitchen with a gas-burner stove top, microwave and small gas oven. Birdie has central A/C, electrical outlets, a TV, and WiFi. She features a queen sized bed in the private back bedroom. The sofa converts to a full-sized bed and the dinette becomes another twin-sized bed. Birdie comfortably sleeps four adults or two adults and three children. All linens, sheets and towels, plus blankets are provided. If you are looking for something bigger, take a look at the Puma which is the other RV we have for rent.

Cute tiny cabin (400 sqf) in a beautiful spot in the forest. 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the other one has a bunk bed (twin at the top and full at the bottom). Private deck, a fire pit, fully stocked kitchen, A/C, full bathroom, beds are made and you have towels/soap/shampoo. Parking is right next to the cabin.

Super nice and welcoming people, the space is beautiful and clean. The hot showers were perfect! Don’t forget to take a picture in the chimney tree! And the trail around the site was really nice. Overall extremely welcoming.

I absolutely LOVED Mystic Forest Campground! It was a perfect, peaceful little spot right in the middle of the redwoods and 5 minutes from the ocean! The owners were a lovely, welcoming couple with lots of information and suggestions! They even have a cute little gift shop with an espresso machine! I will definitely be back when Im in the area!

Patrick was so funny and accommodating, we were missing a grill at our campground and he came by to personally drop off two options. It was a pleasant experience overall, the bathrooms were nice and clean and the campground had warm showers!

Beautiful, peaceful campground that's perfectly situated to explore Redwood National and State parks. Having clean bathrooms and hot showers is a huge bonus and the owners, Maya and Patrick are super warm and welcoming hosts. Highly, highly recommended.

Puma The RV
Nice and spacious camper with everything needed except food! Easy to spread out and relax, and we loved the secluded fire pit area with picnic table. The hosts were friendly and inviting and responsive when needed. Cute little gift shop on site. Would highly recommend this campground for families or anyone looking to visit the redwoods.

We had an amazing experience at Mystic Forest! The campground is conveniently located right by the highway but the property is beautiful and quiet. The campsites are lovely and surrounded by beautiful redwood trees. There is everything you need here- little campstore, free showers with hot water, well equipped game room with lots of fun activities, wifi and charging available, and even a fun little minigolf course! The campstore offers some cute merch, firewood, food and delicious coffee! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the owners- they were very friendly, welcoming and really went out of their way to make our experience perfect! They provided a map, instructions and told us everything we needed to know about the campground. Our only regret is not staying longer, but at least now we know where to stay when we’re back in the area! ;)

Good Ole Birdie the RV
Birdie was so comfortable and cozy after a day of exploring. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. The showers had hot water, and the coffee machine in the office was a nice touch. The campground had close proximity to many great trails and parks and was so close to the beach for sunsets. I can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Mystic Forest! The location was perfect, close to tons of fun activities to do in the redwoods. Our camp spot was clean and spacious. Patrick had excellent communication prior to our arrival and answered all my questions. He was also very helpful when we were there, giving us advice on local trails, and genuinely just being a friendly dude. The campground was also well loved by our kids, from the mini golf course, to the game room, and an ice cream treat from the store. The hot showers were also a wonderful bonus!!! We will be back!

Maya and Patrick were wonderful, gracious hosts! Super friendly, hard working, and happy to help with anything! The campsites are gorgeous and the amenities are clean and well kept. They have information on all the fun things to see around the area and are happy to make suggestions. A great place for kids and super safe. Highly recommend staying here!

Overall had a great experience especially with hot water available for showers and a handy WiFi for those last min planning. Some of the sites do have a direct view of the gas station ahead which can be a bit distracting.

We absolutely LOVED mystic forest. I would highly high recommend this camping location. Each tent spot was quiet and pretty private and noise didn’t travel far. Management was VERY welcoming. Clean bathrooms to use with HOT WATER. Mini golf course and game room included, I mean SAY LESS. Love love love, would def come back. Please give me an NIL deal because I actually love this place with my whole heart.
