"Mi Querida" at Mission Ranch - EV
Truck camping with Animals !
Nancy’s land accommodated my fiancée and I’s rooftop truck-tent-camp flawlessly. What is described on the listing is accurate. Great views, peaceful, rolling hills, rustic-Californian barn vibes. We pulled the truck right under a private tree and next to Hannah (horse) and Daisy (burro), and that elevated our experience, as they were very welcoming. We also met her corgis, and the barn cat Blue, all very nice. Really - don’t forget the carrots to feed them if it still applies in the listing! It was a calming experience being able to feed the wonderful animals with what Nancy provided, but would’ve been stellar if we had more to give.
Nancy was a fantastic host, super accommodating, great spirit. 5/5 stars.

Nancy was a wonderful host! She escorted us to her property, introduced us to Bleu, Grace, and Hannah, and helped us get settled at our site. She was very responsive, and the site was really nice that we had — 50amp and 20amp charging for two Tesla car campers, flat area with ample room to set out chairs and take in the view. There is a barbecue, a fridge with drinks in it, and a fire pit (bring your propane tank!). Toilet is a traveling toilet situation (one of those portable camping toilets) and shower/sink have hot water. Easily 45 minutes from Pinnacles. Make sure to allow for Hollister traffic if you’re driving down on a Friday afternoon — took us an hour and a half from San Jose. Make sure to say hello to Willie and Jasmine too (corgis!). Would definitely visit again — thanks Nancy!

I had a fishing trip planned in Monterey Bay and stayed here. I would highly recommend this site. Very quiet with horses and donkey. Nancy consulted her fishing neighbor to give us locations of where to fish and even drew us a map to help us get to the launch ramp at moss landing. The campsite was big about for three boats with trailer. I would definitely stay here again.

Surprise Gem
This was our first HipCamp experience and we instant booked while on the road and to give ourselves a break from traffic. We have a truck and 19 foot travel trailer. I noticed that Mi Querida was right along our route and offered a large pad, electricity and water hookup. Plus Nancy, the owner was kind enough to meet us and escort us to her ranch. What is not to love?!!! Beautiful weather, stunning views, a hot shower, compost toilet and communal kitchen and outdoor covered dining area. She can easily accommodate RV and tent camping. She even has a cute bunkhouse. You’ll meet a well cared for donkey and palomino who will nibble a provided treat from your hand. At nite, stars are amazing and Nancy kindly has soft lighting if you want to venture to shower after dark. We don’t think there is anything else she could provide. She’s thought of everything and added special touches. We had been camping for a week and nothing compared to the rejuvenation we felt at Mi Querida, and it was less expensive. Nancy works hard to make your stay pleasant and her communication is prompt. The property is on a rural road, one lane, and has a few potholes. It’s paved and although we “perspired” a bit, we had no problems. Property is behind locked gates so you feel secure. If this is an indication of what HipCamp is about, we are all in. If you are interested in checking out this lovely place, she has a super brochure.

Refreshed and recharged!
Quick trip away from the city to catch the Perseid Meteor Shower and catch them we did!
Memories and new friends made around the farm and around the campfire. Hannah, Daisy & Blue were perfect hosts and Nancy is a force of nature! We're coming back with our dogs next time :)
We tent camped under a tree - flat with very few rocks, enough shade to keep things cool in the sun. Common kitchen and bathroom well kept - be ready to become familiar with using a compost toilet! Having hot water was an absolute treat compared to other campsites.
Gorgeous views.....
