Camp Hecky
Wine, Horses and Free Firewood!
Had a nice stay at Camp Hecky. Super close to wineries which we enjoyed during the day. Micheal the host was very friendly, we enjoyed hanging with the horses and the free firewood! It's pretty exposed and the valley can get pretty hot, so next time, we'll bring some shade! Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay again!
Another awesome stay at Camp Hicky - this is fast becoming my 2nd home - an easy 10 min ride down into Santa Ynez... a great place to stay every time

Camp Hecky
Enjoyed staying with Mike. There was plenty of firewood and we were able to use the grill on-site to make dinner.

Awesome little land for a stop over
Great spot for a one nighter. Maybe a tad expensive for what it is, but it’s definitely pretty and the horses are sweethearts!

Camp Hecky
I had a very comfortable stay here. Free firewood, cute garden, and the beautiful mountain scenery were such treats! The site was actually 3 sites in a gated field. Each group had brought a dog, so my puppy had companions to play with. The site is surrounded by a wood and pokey wire fence, but dogs determined to run away could. You can hear some highway noises outside. Overall, my stay as a solo female traveler with a dog was comfortable and peaceful.
