Cool camp with a couple caveats

Essentially the site was accurate per the listing. It's a cool little spot off the beaten path, down in a valley. The RV spots are bunched near the entry. Most of the slots are big enough for the units in the description but I would ask ahead if you have slide outs. We tent camped in a 11x17 tent with a pop up canopy and we had plenty of space in slot 5. This was my first summer camp in California and perhaps this was season/location specific but it was buggy. The second buggiest camp I had been in my 20+ years of camping experience. Between the black flies and mosquitoes we chose to spend most of the peak daytime hours away from camp. All that being said, that's the outdoors for you. So come prepared! The last thing I'll mention is the dogs. They were wonderful and I was happy to have them around. Most nights they slept near us in our campsite. Yes, they bark but its good to know that they are there watching out backs.

Awesome place to camp in the Julian/Warner Springs area! The area is beautiful and the farm environment is friendly and fun. My kids had a great time playing with the animals. Definitely plan on coming back!

7 - Dancing Oaks Tent Spots
Loomer Land is the best campground we have ever been to! The camp sites are very private, the groundskeeper John is super welcoming and helpful. The farm animals are amazing! We had so much fun spending time with the dogs, goats, cats, bunnies, etc. we didn't even want to leave the camp site for day excursions. We would love to visit Loomer Land again and highly recommend it, especially to families with kids!

We loved it Sean was extremely attentive to all his campers. The animals were the best part and they were all very friendly. Would definitely go back again perfect spot to relax and explore the grounds.

We loved the sweetest dogs we ever met and all the farm animals! The baby bunnies and goats were a special treat for our kids. The dogs did bark a lot through the night and you gotta be ok with the roosters and birds all waking in the early morning, but there is something pretty cool about living with all the animals that makes that part worth it. There are also many sites with lots of shade!!! That is a big bonus. Watch out for red ants and poison oak. Sean gave us a new campsite so just check to see if they can look over your campsite for these things before you arrive.

Our tent site was happy hilltop and had a great view, it’s a short walk down the hill to the animals and toilet, the walk back up is a little steep but not too hard. The bunnies were so cute with babies, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep and pig are all amazing to keep the kids busy. Had a great time and will be back!

My son and I loved camping at Loomerland! The animals were such a delight to spend time with and the land is absolutely beautiful! Lots of fun things for the kids to do and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The outdoor kitchen was such a great addition to camping too! We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a weekend and we had so much fun staying at the Warner’s Teepee!
Our favorite parts of our stay: the dogs hanging with us (especially Willow), playing with the pig, watching the goats and chickens graze, and the peacocks walking right up to our site and hanging out with us. We loved walking around and having animals walk beside us. Sean and Ty were nice and made us feel welcome. The kitchen and outhouse definitely exceeded our expectations as well.
Something to keep in mind when you’re out there, not at fault at all of the hosts, but we did notice a lot of ticks around. Given that we are out in nature, there’s not much to be done with that. But I would recommend not letting the dogs come into the tent no matter how cute they are. We also used Apple Maps getting to the site, and the address led us right to the correct place. (we were worried we were going in the wrong direction at first, but if you’re using Apple Maps you should be good!)
Rory also was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the cat and bunny sanctuary. We 100% recommend this site for those who enjoy animals.

6 - Dancing Oaks Tent Spots
We had a lot of fun at this location. Directions were clear and it was easy to find. We were greeted by the camp hosts and even friendlier Dog who helped us set up camp. The tent spot was a little sloped but otherwise plenty of space to spread out. Our kids had a lot of fun with the animals. Goats, dogs, cats, bunnies, ducks, chickens and a pig! We loved experiencing farm life for the weekend.

Happy Hilltop Site
Sean was a wonderful host. The campground was clean and quite. The spot we got had the most beautiful view and we got to play with the dogs every morning when they'd come greet us while making their little rounds. It was so nice. The kitchen was nice and clean and the bathrooms were also nice. Plenty of hiking to do there and overall it was just a great experience. I hope to come back someday!

The location of the farm is peaceful and surrounded by nature, which is perfect for someone looking to relax.
The tent was very cozy, clean, beautifully set up, we enjoyed hiking nearby trails and spending time with the friendly animals around the area, especially the dogs. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Lisa, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful setting.

This was our second time at Loomerland and we absolutely love it, it's one of our favorite spots to camp. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgable, the whole property is very well maintained and there is always a friendly vibe. The animals are amazing! If you have an animal-loving kid, this is the best spot to camp! We'll be back soon!

This was our third time staying here and each time it seems a new and beautiful experience awaits us. First time- baby goats and piglets. Second time baby bunnies. And this time puppies!
It really is a magical little hidden gem in SD County and my kids and I love staying here. This time I also met the kind owners of whom I’m so grateful that they share their land so that others can enjoy.

If I could give a 7-star rating, I would!
Sean and his family are hands down the best hosts anyone could ask for. We were looking for a secluded, quiet area, and they went above and beyond to offer us a beautiful hidden spot that was absolutely perfect for my wife and our two boys. They even brought over a heavy table to make sure we were comfortable and checked in regularly to ensure everything was just right.
But the real stars of the stay were their incredible 8 mountain dogs! Our kids adored them, and they were not just friendly and playful, but also made us feel safe the entire time. At least three of them stayed with us 24/7, like loyal guardians. It was such a unique and heartwarming experience having them around.
We can't thank Sean and his family enough for the wonderful three days we spent there. It truly felt like a home away from home.
P.S. If you're planning your next camping trip, definitely ask Sean about "Melody's Hidden Gem"—a spot we named after my wife! :)

I believe the space in the world that people choose to occupy and share is a kind of reflection of their purpose and will, and Loomer Land is an oasis for the mind, body, and spirit. I found such peace and beauty in the simplicity of my stay there. At night the sky is a bowl full of stars, I loved the dogs who made me feel safe and guarded and during the day I had so much fun playing with the bunnies and goats and cats. I am looking forward to coming back with more of my family.

I went car camping (sleeping the back) at Loomerland and it was great! Very nice and quiet, and the farm staff were very welcoming! There’s plenty of cute animals, and farm dogs that protect you like you are part of the family. Do know that there is no phone signal here, but they do offer free WiFi in the communal area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will certainly be back!

Such a magical place! I came for a women’s retreat and was greeted so warmly by the animals and the hosts. We parked our little camper by the ducks and the barn. I will cherish my found treasures of a lovely peacock feather and perfect pine cone! I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much 💙

We loved it! It was perfect weather (mid September) and the animals and Zipline were so much fun for the kids. The people we met who work there were so nice! And the parents appreciated the glamping situation with the Teepee and amazing (very functional!) outdoor kitchen. We'll be back!

We had our first camping trip ever at Loomer Land and it was a hit! Lets just say my kids didnt want to go home, they asked if we could stay for a few more nights (we stayed for 2).
Between the farm animals that roam freely and provide hours of entertainment for the kids, flushable toilet, a closed-net kitchen with water, fridge, electricity, etc… and the playground by the owner’s house with a slack line, zip line, monkey bars, a swing, hammocks… you name it - there is so much to do and explore just on the property itself. Add to that the wonderful and friendly Ximena and Taylor that let the kids help with the animals and the garden and boom - you got yourself happy kids!
