Love this campsite & would recommend to friends. We had a good time fishing and swimming, Unfortunately on our recent visit the porta potty was not well maintained. The seat was broken, it ran out of water to flush had manually flush, plus it was full.. I will most likely visit again but will check with host about the porta potty maintenance before hand.

Beautiful area for tent camping! Thereâs a bathroom, water spigot, and tables â everything you need for a comfortable stay!! The views are gorgeous and even though the street is nearby, you forget about it quickly because of how pretty the area is.

Had a nice long weekend tent camping. Location has 2 elevations were you could set up camp. Upper area has some nice trees that provide good sheade. Overall pretty even and flat surface for the tents. It's a little windy in the mornings, so you need to make sure to stake down the tents. Soil is hard, glad we always pack a hammer and HD stakes, otherwise it would have been impossible to stake them down2. Location has a docking area for boats and is close to gas stations, restaurants and supermarkets. It's close to the road so you will have some noise from the cars driving by but it did not bother us much. There is a port-a-poti but no shower and 2 picnic tables with bench seating. Enjoyed using the fire pit. Would definitely book again.

We loved this spot a lot, great for short stays or fishing trips, I wouldn't recommend for long stays with little ones, it could get really loud because the street next to it plus neighbors across front have noisy dogs, also the porta potty waste really dirty and some visible trash around the property during our stay probably from long weekend previously guests, anyway it was a good trip.

I love tent camping.Edâs land was nice and clean with two camping tables for larger group.there are two trees on the land upper side which are made a good shade on the hot days so you can move the table over there or take midday nap.fortunately the street is not busy at the night so cars noise not gonna bother you and the other side on the lake jet skies and boats make a lot of noise until evening.Overall we enjoyed there . I had comunication with Ed by text,He responded me all the time very quickly .The direction is clear also inside the land is water so you can use it for wash dishes or hands.We were there with friends and I think if you want go there with family it should be fun for kids.

We recently spent a relaxing weekend camping at Edâs property in Lake Elsinore, and it was exactly what we were hoping for! Booked through Hipcamp, the process was smooth and Ed was a responsive and welcoming host.
The campsite itself was clean, spacious, and had stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills. We loved how peaceful and quiet the area wasâperfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.

This is a hidden gem in Lake Elsinore! It has a lot to offer to everyone!
Fishing jumping out of the water
Birds of all kinds flying and swimming around
Sounds of frogs and other small animals.
During the day you can enjoy activities in and on the water
Maybe some fishing by pier or on a boat if you have one.
And watching boats and jet ski passing by.
The sunsets over the mountains you are facing
At night you can see some stars
Across the lake you can see city lights
The only negative I can say about this place is close to a main road so remember to bring your headphone this way you can mute out the sound when you are enjoying the view and sleeping.
Ed the host, is the best, fast response and gives detail instructions how everything works and provides.
No wonder this place is always booked.
You wonât be disappointed
We will be back again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay on the Lake. Direct lake access provided beautiful views, sunrises, sunsets and wildlife viewing. Even got to watch parachuters! We brought our kayak and appreciated how close the site is to the water and having a dock. We also appreciated having a very clean restroom and water, picnic tables, fire pit and shade. We have to agree with other reviews about the road noise.

Very easy to find and the lake is nice, but really didnât feel like a getaway. Literally located on a noisy main road and traffic doesnât stop all night. This may not bother some people, but itâs not great. Secondly, there was a home across this road and the dog did not stop barking ALL night. Impossible to sleep. Lastly, while the porter potty was clean, it had no water. So we couldnât flush and was annoying. We used a bucket with lake water instead. Table and chairs were also dirty and general vibe for the site felt neglected. For the price, I was very underwhelmed.

It was a very beautiful campsite! Nothing against this spot. However it is right off a busy road so it is a bit loud with traffic! Walking around the beaches there is sadly so much trash ): my friends and I cleaned some of it up but it was very dissapointing to see so much trash everywhere! Felt like I was in an episode of Psych⌠strange vibes in the town. Ortega falls was just filled with vandalism but still kinda cool. Sadly San Juan trail was closed and the poppies werenât blooming yet. Still the campsite given to us was the best part, Ed did an amazing job with it!

First time camping ever !! I camped with my dogs and my nephew and it was an amazing experience. Usually hate porta potties but this was cleanest ever , and it uses a flush system so youâre not looking at your waste. We did camp on the bottom right by the lake and we were able to hear the water at night which was really nice, didnât hear the traffic by road much so it wasnât a problem. Definitely coming back when itâs a bit warmer.

Lakeshore retreat stay was great. We got lucky with the unusually warm February Saturday and the place was better than we expected.
Portable toilet was very clean. My wife & I were able to enjoy the picnic table and firepit until late as thereâs no insects flying around. My wife love the wildlife she saw. Geese, duck, my wife saw a cormorant too. The shore is shallow and clean, not mucky. We really had a great time!

Great spot on the shore of Lake Elsinore! My son enjoyed fishing off the small pier. Campground is flat and convenient for tent and car.
The host Ed was awesome. He answered every of my inquiries in a timely manner.
We would definitely come back this spring or summer. We recommend this campsite for everyone who enjoys fishing, camping, or the mix.
One warm advice is to bring EarPods if you need very quiet sleep, as the noise from the street at night was a little annoying.
