Great spot to stay at to break up the drive to/from the PNW. I was nervous based on Google reviews and previous reviews because of the trashed cars and randoms walking in during all hours of the night, and because I was out camping solo. I had no issues with that whatsoever! It was quiet in the evenings. Had the hot springs all to myself in the morning and at night. Perfect place to stop!

One of our favorite camp spots after a 2 week road trip! We chose to stay right on the creek which was beautiful, but there are a ton of different spots to choose from. There were 3 other campers that we never saw or heard. Clean bathroom was available. Host was great and shared so much with us about his property. The best part was walking to the hot springs - a super quick and easy walk. We had it all to ourselves. Wish we could've spent more time here!

Wonderful campground with the river just a few minutes down the trail. Even with 5 other campers there you can spread out and it’s very quiet, like really quiet.
We originally booked two nights but added an additional two nights since it was so lovely.
Be sure to walk down to the hot springs, it’s delightful having warm pools next to a cold river.
The reservoir a few miles past the ranch is gorgeous and worth a bike ride or drive up there. And Burney Falls is certainly worth a visit.
This is a gem of a campground, it’s best to arrive early so you can pick a good spot. Don’t let the abandoned cars on the side of the road concern you, it’s a beautiful and pristine area

Kosk Creek was a great place to stay! A little too warm to enjoy the hotsprings but the kids enjoyed playing in the creek. Don’t use Apple maps to navigate here, it will take you down a very long FSR.

Kosk Creek was a very nice private campground. There were great spots to camp along the creek and a man-made waterfall about a mile up creek. There are no hookups nor potable water unfortunately. There was a couple of port-a-potty’s that were not well maintained (no toilet paper, so bring your own).

Cool little camp area, very hot! But worth it. The creek and river spots made the camping trip! Campsites are spread out. Pretty private. The outhouses could be dumped but other than that we were super stoked to be able to experience one of the most magical river spots and hot springs. Would go again in the cooler months.

Great place -- it is a beautiful and relaxing campground with a number of private sites near river -- would be nice to have some more picnic tables but the host Scott was great and told us he is working on that. Hot springs are great (it was too hot for them) and we enjoyed spending time at Iron Canyon Reservoir. Host was very kind and responsive. We enjoyed it and would go back. Dogs loved it too.

We had a fantastic experience. There were plenty of spots to pick from, the forest is beautiful and you can get a clear view of the stars at night. I would definitely make another trip here.

Loved how quiet it was. Had the hot springs to ourselves as the sun set. Directions were a bit tough via Google.. Should have paid attention to the directions given.
Having hand sanitizer outside of the bathroom would have been lovely.

We enjoyed Kosk creek campgrounds. We got there late afternoon and had to look for where we camp- there is no signed sites, first come first serve. We found a great spot but can be hard for people coming in later night. Hot springs were amazing.

This was our 1st time at Kosk Creek. It's a wonderful gem! Large campsites that have plenty of room between you & your closet neighbor.
Porta potties were exceptionally clean!
100% will book again.
We also got lucky at the reservoir 4 miles up the road. We caught 5 nice trout between 3 of us

This is a very special place that needs more respect to the natives and the locals who look after this place. Please, practice respectful behaviors and follow the rules locals practice. Absolutely no music, glass bottles, soap, over diluting of the springs. Do not go in the creek nor the springs. Use provided sanitation device or Dig hole and bury. Thank you and have a wonderful time!

We needed a spot to test our young dog's car ride & camping abilities. 2.5 hrs from Chico-Lots of room for her to explore- brought long lead secured in camp. Great spot for tent camping. Not a lot of easy creek access from campsites, which made hauling 5 gallon buckets of water for campfire a bit tedious. Maybe pack a small straight collapsable ladder to put down to creek. Once you do find ur way down, the creek is beautiful, great lil swimming holes & fishing spots. We hiked to the furthest hot spring- gorgeous. Bring your bucket & a towel/blanket to sit on. Most campsites had shade at somepoint, a few had zero. Nobody ever checked in with us. The "fire rings" were not such when we went. 1 rock high- not dug out. We found a campsite someone left a half burn barrel-used it. Bring shovel/rake. Portapotty- bring paper. Mosquitos-YES. No lights-except from campers-beautiful star show. Hot days cold mornings. Easy drive-car camping-great time. Go.

Cute little spot with very nice hot springs. Accessible by small hatchback if careful driving to avoid potholes but hard to find as the sun was going down and I lost service so definitely download maps and screenshot the host's directions ahead of time. Worst case, there is a free wifi Hotspot in Big Bend at the trading post.

If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place. You are miles from cellular service, but immersed in the quiet solitude of nature. In June, Kosk creek was a temperature that made soaking in it easy. And the hot springs were nice. Our only problem was my mistake. I didn’t realize how far away from the waterfalls we wanted to visit we would be, aside from Burney which was just an hour away.
Prepare for a rough couple of miles as you approach from Hwy 299. Lots of potholes to dodge, but we managed to get our trailer there safely.

Kosk creek campground was a spacious area with with plenty of privacy. Full shade or sun sites available. Beautiful creek running through the property to fish and swim. Short hike to some natural hot springs. There were also 4 porta toilets spaced throughout.
Most sites included a picnic table and fire ring.
