Beautiful cozy camping with well water tucked away in Oak Glen, the heart of Southern California Apple Country! Whether you're enjoying harvest season, spring apple blossoms, or summer hikes in cooler climes, there's always something to do up here! Walking distance from Los Rios, Apple Annie's and Snowline Apple Farms, private hikes, and Oak Glen Conservancy Ecological Preserve. This is a perfect spot for families or romantic getaways! A quick drive away from Los Angeles and the I.E. enjoy our tiny startup farm with apple trees, and medicinal herbs, surrounded by lush evergreens. Our home is on the property approximately 150 feet up the hill from the camp sites. We are just a text away if you need anything. Please note that the ONLY fires allowed are in the propane fire pits provided with your stay, and any cooking must be done on your own camp stove, not on the fireplace to decrease the risk of bear visits.

A Cozy secluded corner surrounded by pine trees and a row of apple trees, 30x26 packed sand camping spot. We offer a gas fire pit for use during your stay. (one propane tank per campsite is provided, however additional propane can be purchased at the market price for propane). We do not permit outdoor wood fires or charcoal fires at any time. Please only bring propane or gas stoves for your cooking needs, do not cook over the propane fire pit as it can attract animals and/or damage the pit. Potable water hookup is available with fresh clear well water! Campers will enjoy a very private hands off experience, with frequent wildlife visitors and gorgeous mountain views. Hosts live onsite so emergencies are just a doorbell ring or a message away. Trash and recycling receptacles are available but we request that anything that has food odors be put in the trash only on the morning you leave if possible, to avoid being a Bear attractant. We also ask that any large trash items be taken with you. High speed Wifi available all throughout the property. No sewage or power hookups but a RV dumping station is 12 minutes away for a lighter ride home.

Christine's HipCamp was an excellent setting for a quick weekend camp for our family. Nestled in the middle of several apple orchards along Oak Glen Road, the location was perfect for enjoying the local activities and atmosphere. Christine proved to be a gracious and helpful hostess, and her cats served as campsite companions that were greatly enjoyed by the family.

My sister and I enjoyed camping here! It was equipped with a fire place, compost toilet and beautiful views. The host was very attentive and sweet. Totally would recommend for beginnings who are getting into the car camping scene. We will definitely be back!

We stayed one night at Kings Hollow Hipcamp. Christine personally met us and showed the charming site where we parked our car. The whole environment felt very warm, friendly and exactly what we were looking for. Christine explained us how to get to her campsite , and was always quick responsive to our messages. Our campsite had a set of chair and table , and water in the hose which was so convenient because we were with a dog. We will definitely come back to Kings Hollow again. Great place ! Highly recommended for any level of camping experience.

Very simple and easy space to camp in, I felt very safe. The house is near by perfect for the set up I needed for this trip, Christine and her family were so helpful and kind during my stay.

This is someone’s front lawn. Beware! We have a 20’ poo up trailer, and had a difficult time even turning around to leave this place! Thankful for a partial refund. DO NOT BOOK!

Lovely, quiet spot up in a canyon. Christine was very accommodating and directions to the site were clear. Wifi was strong, and bonus points for the 2 sweet, friendly kitties that frequented the site! They plan to separate the composting toilets, which I think will improve privacy. Site 1 is a little flatter and prettier, Site 2 is bigger with more morning shade. Both offer enough room to spread out, but not a lot of privacy between. A lot of animals frequent the wash behind the site, particularly at night. Saw coyotes and deer, the coyotes kept their distance. Sprinkler noise at night and nearby roosters at dawn took some getting used to, but were fine after the first night. Bring ear plugs if you are sensitive.

Beautiful house and property surrounded by trees and greenery located at the base of a huge mountain. My 7yr old was absolutely stoked hanging out with their two super friendly kitty cats. There’s all kinds of cute little apple/berry picking places/pie shops etc just down the street. Going to big bear Coming from SD, this is a good resting spot if you want to break up the drive and check out something different, 1hr to big bear.

The campsite is small and close to the residence house. Christine and son in law, Jason, are very gracious and accommodating so that you have an enjoyable experience.

Love this place. Will be my new “go to” campground. Serene and beautiful and everything an outdoor enthusiast could need… including a fire pit! Pippen and Merry the two cats that patrol the property made the trip. Spent lots of time at my camp. Christine was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed. So relaxing and enjoyable.

Very quiet and serene. Had a very nice camp site and a fire pit as well. She also had 2 cats and one spent lots of time with me. Couldn’t have been better! Christine was great and so helpful with suggestions and advice for Oak Glen area. This will bey new go to place to camp!

Due to some unforeseen reasons, I could not come to this beautiful place, but I had excellent communication with the owner and I’m excited to return another time. Everything has been great in regards to that.

Christine and her family were so kind! They told us about walking trails and activities in the area while we were there. The camping spot is a short hike to beautiful sunset views. You are camping in front of their home but still around nature. Spot is on a slight incline. Compost toilet, running water hose, and propane fire pit (with propane tank) provided. Oak Tree Mountain and Los Rios Rancho are within walking distance.
