Nice location for enjoying Kings Canyon and Sequoia! The amenities (toilets and water) were great and it’s close to a swimming hole that was quite refreshing after a long day of hiking. The only opportunity for improvement would be that several other campers were quite loud until around midnight. Also, some parties were making campfires in the midst of a fire ban which was disappointing. I would stay here again.

Great place to camp! 10/10. Very clean and hosts were very nice and helpful! It’s right off the 180, but it was still very quiet. We couldn’t hear any of the cars driving by. We also couldn’t hear any of the other campers, which was surprising because it was 4th of July weekend! Camp hosts make sure to not overbook so everyone had enough space for themselves. Bathrooms were clean and close to each campsite. As listed, there aren’t any showers but some of the sites have water hookups so we used a hose to rinse off. It gets very windy at night (like howling wind because you’re in the canyon) so make sure to bring extra stakes and rope to secure tents/EZ-ups. Prime location as it took us 30 mins to drive to roads end and only an hour and 15 mins from Sequoia National Park. We can’t wait to be back next summer!

Really enjoyed my stay here! I was in one of the most private campsites, which made the experience even better. Sites 8 and 9 are definitely the most secluded and sit right next to the little river, so falling asleep to the sound of the water was incredibly peaceful. My site felt spacious, and even though it’s right off the road, the bushes create enough of a natural barrier that it still feels tucked away and private. The bathroom on this side of the campground wasn’t cleaned as regularly as I would’ve liked, but I really appreciated having a flushing toilet. There aren’t any showers here, so I was especially grateful for the privacy of my site as it made taking a quick daily sponge bath easy and comfortable. The campground also has a few convenient amenities, including paid Wi-Fi, a gas station, and a little shop with ice cream and other snacks. The location is fantastic since it’s right in between all of the main attractions in Kings Canyon and just over an hour from Sequoia, making it a great home base for exploring both parks. My neighbors were quiet and respectful throughout my stay, and overall I had a really peaceful experience during a holiday weekend. I’d absolutely stay here again!

We loved this site. It was private but close to the bathroom and we loved hearing the stream. We loved having our hammock up. Good amount of shade which was nice in the heat and a nice picnic table. Perfect location for spending time at both ends of kings canyon national park.

The tent site 9 was a wonderful secluded place. There is a river nearby for some adventure, picnic table is great and straight, unlike some I've encountered before. Bathroom is on site, super clean, wonderful ventilation, toilet paper provided, along with night lightings. Look for the Ice Cream Stop Sign on the scenic bypass. We almost missed it lol.

This place is incredible! We booked this spot literally at 8:00pm the same day and we were not expecting the world since it was so last minute and boy! This place is magical. The creek next to it is breathtaking, the place had so many extras like bathrooms, running water, fire pits, shaded areas, picnic tables, and even a little shop! Cannot wait to come back!

Overall a great site, really close to the canyon of Kings Canyon NP and site has a good view. It is right next to the HWY so cars are heard very close by and could be an issue for light sleepers. All in all, the site was nice and the ice cream was really good.

This was a nice spot! There was pretty good shade through the afternoon, and the creek was perfect for cooling off. The host was very friendly, everything was well maintained, and it was great to be centrally located between all the sites/trails I wanted to visit. Would recommend!

The campsites were clean and easily accessible. You definitely won’t have service, but wifi is provided. It’s not wifi to stream movies etc just to help you get the gps going when you’re heading out. It is close to the road, but there is limited traffic. Very peaceful. Deer everywhere!! We will definitely be back!

We are car campers and love the seclusion of this site! Bonus is being able to walk down to river and hang out on the rocks. This is my second time camping here and they added a flushing stool to this area,what a great surprise! Highly recommend if you are seasoned tent or car campers.

It was a really nice campground. Very conveniently located to do things in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. We went to General Grant and Hume Lake. Not an abundance of shade at the site but some. My main negative is that the restroom stalls are very short. It was a bit of a struggle to sit down with the stall door closed and my legs were up against the door.

There is no host onsite - the wifi barely works when it soes want to work. It said showers were available but I couldnt find any. The store and gas pumps were closed. Someone was on our site when we arrivedm its reallt just an open field with a firepit that you cant use.

I was at site #6. Positives: flat ground, easy to find. Constant source of light at entrance by the trash can. Negatives: close to road, can hear cars going by. Farthest from working water faucet (but it's okay), the toilet flush doesn't work so it was very nasty. Blazing sun and the covering provided only a bit of shade some of the times. A lot of wind that night. My overall impression was that it's fine for a night, but would not stay longer mostly due to the nasty toilet.

This campsite was very nice and even though it was right off the main road, you wouldn’t know it because the running water from the river was all you could hear. I would definitely stay here again.

Site 5 - Group Campsite
This RV park has a fantastic location, situated right inside Kings Canyon National Park. It's an excellent base if you want to visit both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Plus, the price is very reasonable. For RVs, the only drawback is that there's no electricity hookup, but it does have public restrooms, as well as water and sewage disposal. There's also a small shop that sells ice cream and coffee, and even a gas station. I'll definitely come back next time.

We loved the secluded tent site 9 at this campground. It was right by to the river, which made for a great night’s sleep with the rushing water making a nice white noise. We never saw or heard our neighboring campers and only occasionally heard the traffic from the road. The nearby bathroom (flush toilet and sink) and potable water spigot/hose were wonderful!
