Overall fine experience. The campsite was directly next to the highway, and very close to neighboring campsites. This campsite had a nice clean bathroom and was beneficial for a quick night stay.

Awesome campground site, private and with a lot of shade. The site is space out enough where you cant hear or see other sites. The restroom is a few steps away from the site. This is the second time camping at Sarah's land and we love it. If you like star gazing, at night this is a perfect spot to enjoy the shooting stars. oh and the sound of the creek that is just a few steps away from the site is the cheery on top for this camp site. overall, this is a beautiful camp site where you can disconnect and enjoy the nature. If you are lucky you can encounter some deer by the out post munching in the afternoons.

Amazing!!! site 8 was perfect shady and close to the water! the ice cream shop with the fruit trees for you to pick was the cherry on top! just watch out for the bats at night they are kinda loud but that’s nature for you!!! other then that 10/10 will be back soon!!

Hosts were great. WiFi and Ice Cream in RV site across the road. #6 was too close to the road and only shade is from installed sail shade. Overgrown blackberry bushes blocked creek access. #9 is the spot! Secluded, natural shade, and steps from the creek.

Site 1 - Rv Space Camp site
This was a great unplugged, no cellular service, peaceful unwind. We went in the second weekend of August and it was hot 🥵 during the day. The morning and evenings were fine about the 80s. At night you cooled down to upper 60s, there was a breeze you could hear through the trees in the campground, it was very relaxing. There are water connections and sew dump connections available. There are a couple of provided flush toilet restrooms, and a sink to wash dishes for those who tent or car camped. Ice cream 🍨 is available at the Gas station, however gas is subject to availability. Don't relay on gas always because there. This was great, I travelled with kids and will definitely do it again. I camped with our Travel Trailer. I also brought and used our propane fire pit. The Stars and Milky way were amazing, vibrant and fantastic to look at when darkness fell upon the campground.

Our first Hipcamp location fell through, and honestly, I’m so glad it did! It led us to this incredible camping spot, complete with a shared trail to the stream right behind us. 🌿🏕️ We were surrounded by beautiful foliage, butterflies, electric-blue dragonflies, gorgeous scenic views—and, of course, ice cream! 🍦🦋 The location was perfect, with easy access to Hume Lake, Kanawyers, and Boyden Caverns. It turned out to be exactly where we were meant to end up. We’re already planning our return trip next year! ❤️

What an opportunity! Kings Canyon RV resort is nestled within the National Park. Resort is a strong word, we almost drove right by it, but you can find it by looking for the signs for ice cream. :) if you want to be in an unusual, remote, and accommodating place this is it. Electric and water hook ups were great. We didn’t visit the provided restrooms but they were available.

It’s such a cute small resort. So many deer came to visit us (watch them from a distance!!!). They had all the essentials. I used a hose to shower and it worked quite well honestly.

The camp site was great! I was only there for dinner/sleeping and all our equipment was safe and sound. This site has a great view of the mountains, but it is located directly off the 180 FRE, so if you're a light sleeper this might not be the camp for you. All the guests were lovely and respectful. This site has great bathrooms, sinks for dishes, hoses, and great WIFI. Didn't get to try the ice cream this time, but I'm sure it's amazing as many people stopped by to have a bite. The only problem we had was the HEAT and our site had little shade during the day. Totally not a deal breaker though! We expected the heat since we went in the middle of the summer. They do provide some canopies for other sites which was very lovely. Overall a GREAT stay in King's Canyon, and it's not too far from the gift shop either!

Site 8 - Tent Site
Site 8 is near proximity maybe 3 to 4 other sites but not too close where you can see it hear one another! They are all at the edge of the river. In my opinion 8 is the best because it has so much shade from all the trees! The campground takes you back to simplicity, it provided the basic needs and for us it was more than enough. We felt safe which was most important and we had at the tip of our hands access to ICE. So when camping and you don't have access to a camper/home on wheels the ice is definitely a NEED and we had that and some!! My hubby and I had the best ice-cream there daily. Mind you, I'm lactose intolerant and not once did I get sick!! Best ice-cream ever!! Cheyenne is the point of contact for the campground and she also ran the store that sells ice, ice-cream among other things including gasoline! Oh yes the gasoline pumps are a site, they are antiques that actually still work from 1928. I couldn't leave without taking a picture with them. I completely and whole heartedly recommend this campground!! At first, i was a lil hesitant since I'd never been and for me me things can be exciting but a lil scary but not regrets at all! Quite the contrary, hubby doggies and I will be returning!! Oh yes extra was the beautiful deer that came daily to eat grim their abundant fruit trees.

It was a lovely campsite and peaceful. I would recommend it but the only thing there was no bear boxes so that was hard storing food. We hung our food in the tree but having a bear box or two would be useful. Other than that it was cool how there was a gas station and a general store with ice cream.

Large camping site, large picnic table with attached benches and very close to the restrooms. Which I was impressed in how clean an well kept they were.

Site 4 - Group Campsite
Nice location for enjoying Kings Canyon and Sequoia! The amenities (toilets and water) were great and it’s close to a swimming hole that was quite refreshing after a long day of hiking. The only opportunity for improvement would be that several other campers were quite loud until around midnight. Also, some parties were making campfires in the midst of a fire ban which was disappointing. I would stay here again.

Site 8 - Tent Site
The Family had a great time camping here. The owners a really sweet, they helped us with directions and how far certain landmarks are. Site 8 is very private which was great for our 1 year old. Blackberries surrounded our campsite and you could hear the water from the creek. I did get bit by a wasp as we were leaving. Just a reminder that we are in their natural grounds. Would definitely stay again. Would like to try site 9 next time because of the easy access to the creek.

Site 2 - Rv Space Camp site
Perfect location in the heart of the parks. Easy to get to Cedar Grove, Hume Lake, and Grant Grove. We saw deer every morning and night.
