Incredible site, vague directions
Beautiful and serene setting at the foot of Shasta. Incredible view of the night sky. Shooting stars, bats flying around. Quite a few bugs when we were there in June, but that’s camping.
Directions could be much more specific though, and additional signage could be added to help find your site, which we had a hard time finding at low light. After a long drive and while pulling a trailer, that’s pretty stressful.

Couldn’t ask for a more private and peaceful setting with 360 degree views of mountains. The view of Mt. Shasta was especially stunning.

Stunning views. Woke up to the most breathtaking scene of a blue mountain set against a pink and orange canvas, painted with strokes of lilac, wild flowers, sounds of mourning doves singing in the distance.

Literally.. Wow. Arguably the most gorgeous view I've ever had from a campground. Site two was nice, far from any main road but still in view of site one, the house and a neighbor (who is probably about a quarter mile away but the land is very flat so you can see far). The site itself is just a picnic table and a flat open area, the water spigot is about a two minute walk away. I would 100% recommend staying here just being a canopy or some sort of sun protection & a camp toilet. The night sky was a sight to behold and I couldn't keep my eyes off of Mount Shasta in the distance.
For anyone who is confused on which driveway to enter in (I was), enter in the one that does not display the house numbers. It's a hundred yards (or so) down the road if you're coming from the north.

Difficult to find our site in the dark but just one trip through the loop and we were able to find it. Fabulous view of Mt. Shasta to the south. Lake Shastina was windy but otherwise beautiful. Nice all-around visit. Will stay here again.

What a delightful view of Mount Shasta on private land. I have a boondocking trailer and all I needed was some sunlight and potable water and I was good. I purchased a half dozen eggs and they were delicious. Other campers were far away and I felt great there.

Great view !!! Pretty leveled ground. We enjoyed our time here and the sunrise was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. Only thing I’d change is maybe putting up signs to which site is which. Other than that it was an amazing experience.

I had an excellent time here with my dog in my truck camper. It was easy to find/navigate. I would highly recommend this spot. Alex was also great about communication. I'll be coming back for sure!

One of the coolest places we've ever stayed! Will definitely be going back. Far from the madding crowd, in the high desert with beautiful views all around -- Shasta playing the starring role. Alex is charming and a great host. A perfect place to watch the night sky and soak in the sounds of nature.

Guys. This site in INCREDIBLE. Stay if you get the chance. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. If you are coming from the north and Google tells you to stop on the right side of the road, it's wrong. There's a little house a bit further up on the left.

We absolutely loved this camping area! The site was clean, well-maintained, and the view was truly stunning. On a clear, moonless night, the sky came alive with stars and constellations—it was breathtaking. We even heard a few coyotes howling in the distance, which added to the wilderness experience without being disruptive.
The host, Alex, was fantastic and went above and beyond by helping us with extra firewood, which we really appreciated. This is definitely a spot we’d love to return to in the summer. The only thing that could make this place even better would be the addition of toilet facilities. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

The views are great! I visited in December and the winds were pretty strong at night, keep that in mind if you plan to tent camp in the winter. I’ll definitely go back at some point!

Gorgeous location that exceeded our expectations!
The views were spectacular, the host was super friendly and welcoming, the spot was so easy to park in with so much room! We just enjoyed everything about this stay-except that we couldn’t stay longer!!!
Our one night stay was wonderful though!
