Our experience at Joshua Tree Lake was unforgettable! Paul was absolutely amazing; he helped us set up our tent and made us feel so welcome. We also want to thank Shiley (or Shaley—sorry if I’m mispronouncing it!) for being so kind and helpful throughout our stay. This was my first time camping and my husband’s first time camping as an adult, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We also left four tent stakes on the bench; I hope Paul found them! The hosts were great. It’s a very exposed area and the wind was active. I may have had a bad draw and the regular showers were down. They had outdoor showers and they were good. It’s very open- know that. The staff were absolutely wonderful.

My husband and I loved Joshua Tree Lake campground. We camped in a tent with our dog and the surrounding area is beautiful. There is a dog park and it is very dog friendly.

They were amazing hosts! Easter egg hunt around the lake amongst the ducks, road runners running by and lovely knowledgeable staff. What a sunset by the fire as well.,

We had an amazing stay at this campground! The location couldn’t be better — just minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. The campsite was peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. Communication with the host was smooth and easy; they provided clear directions and tips for exploring the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Joshua Tree while still having a comfortable and convenient place to camp. Would definitely stay here again

I loved tent camping at Joshua Tree Lake campground. We got to see animals up close and enjoy the stars at night. The only confusion for me was did we set up on the left or right of the table marking our tent site number. Marking out the space would be helpful because other tent campers seemed to have the same confusion. We will definitely recommend, and be visiting again. It was a fun enjoyable experience.

We loved it and had a GREAT WEEKEND! First, it’s the desert so yes it’s dusty and a dirt lot but the staff were SUPER friendly and all showers and bathrooms were clean. The lake is beautiful and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee! We will be back!

We absolutely loved this place! The pond is SO cute with SO many animals all around (ducks, fish, turtles, all kinds of birds, even egrets!) The tent sites were a great size and we enjoyed using the grill up by the office and having a sink for washing dishes. Really appreciated all the red lights they use, great for seeing the sky! It was also a great location, far enough away from the city but still close enough to the park and store! The staff was all amazing and even the showers while they are renovating are nice and definitely hot!!! Would definitely stay again!

The host (we checked in with a lady) she’s really nice and welcoming. Since there were different free lot she told us to take another spot with more shade. We appreciated. We stayed just one night but the bathroom and shower were clean, hot water and I liked the little lake with ducks and squirrels. I recommend this place 😊 price and quality was good too!

Tons of space! Great view of the stars. Campsite sells firewood and it’s cool getting to have a fire when you sometimes can’t in the National park. The bathrooms near the tent sites are porta-potties fyi. There was a Gem Show in the RV portion of the camp, which was an awesome discovery.

It was pretty sick, there's a lake to hang out around, ducks in said lake, and the facilities are nice. Bathrooms, shower, store to buy firewood snacks and duck feed, it was super chill. There's a trail that takes you from the site to the top of a large hill/small mountain with an awesome view. When I went, there was a gemstone show, so there were food trucks, which was a brilliant surprise. Definitely coming back.

Great place! The facilities (restrooms and showers) were clean and had hot water. The camping area had a fire pit and picnic table as described in the add. The staff were very nice too. Highly recommended!

Joshua Tree Lakes staff were welcoming and helpful. The sites were clean and well maintained. They even rake the sites between visitors! We stayed in the dry RV sites which were large and perfect for star gazing at night. It is close to both of the north entrances to Joshua tree state park and the towns of Joshua Tree and 29 Palms. And yes, there is a small lake there!
