A hidden oasis and magical ✨️ adventure for our family of three! The campground felt like we were on the set of an Indiana Jones movie and the tent was spacious with a comfy queen bed and twin mattress, fireplace and electric blankets fo keep us nice and cozy in the winter - we had the most delicious organic ramen noodle soup wuth pork belly and date jam made by the sweetest Korean chef with an amazing culinary career! Just go!! And while you are there book a flight on the local Palm Springs Aerial Tram for a fun experience through the San Jacinto Mountain range. ❤️
Ronald and Grace were excellent hosts - take advantage of her ramen, she is an acclaimed chef! Ronald worked with us to get us the best experience. The soaking hot tub was very nice, plenty big for 3 or 4 people. Initally wasn't impressed with the grounds, but each site has a good amount of privacy. The tents were lovely, we didn't stay in one though. There were ants in some of the sites, but none bothered us (or our dog). We would stay again if judging on experience, but it is a little expensive for a site with no hookups, showers, activities, etc.
We spent about a week at the Date Farm and enjoyed the privacy our site provided and the Mountain View’s it has. It is a reasonably quiet locality in a populated area with a bathroom and shower available plus each site had a tub with a water heater so you can soak. Lots to do in the area, abundant sunshine, warm temps which was what we wanted and we learned a bit about dates. I imagine when the music festivals are going in Coachella it might not be as quiet but we were there in February so it was a nice quiet place to land.
Perfect stay. the host was so responsive and it was very peaceful. 10/10!
