Pioneertown Corrals Tent Camping

Pretty simple campground and wasn’t too crowded, so there was ton a space to choose from. Being walking distance behind Pioneertown makes this location worth it if you are visiting Pappies & Harriet’s or Red Dog. Flushing toilet and sink to wash your hands was a major plus.

Pioneertown Corrals Tent Camping

Perfect stay

Reserved for 1 night ended up staying for three. Camping itself was super basic but the nights sky was amazing. Found it to be perfect as a central launching spot to JTree, Big Bear and lots off road and hiking trails. At night it’s perfect to unwind at the Red Dog Saloon. Also saw two concerts at Pappy and Harriet’s legit a one minute walk. Was perfect. Will be back for sure..

Horse/Equestrian Camping

I had a wonderful time at Pioneertown historic horse camp. The corrals are nice and big. Cody was very nice. The food at Pappy and Harriet's was really good. We had some great trail rides and enjoyed the plentiful spring flowers. I will definitely come back.

Pioneertown Corrals Tent Camping

Excellent Location for Pioneer Town

Very basic amenities but does have two flushing toilets with sinks for washing your hands. The toilets are fragile so use the trash cans for your toilet paper as they clog easily. It’s a great location for visiting Pioneer town and the host is really friendly as diligent about keeping the sites clean.
