This secret off-grid getaway on 56 acres gives stunning views at private tent sites with hiking, bird-watching, and wildflower-spotting. Relax in the shade of a eucalyptus grove, enjoy the sun shining over the sage scrub, enjoy the dark night, and find the hidden waterfalls. A short drive to Temecula, Diamond Valley Lake, and Lake Skinner, our private, scenic campsites offer both serenity and nearby activities including wine tasting, restaurants, hot air balloons, and paragliding. We are 100% off-grid with no hookups or water sources (yet), no showers (yet) in the middle of a conservation area. A significant portion of our proceeds goes directly to a local non-profit for habitat restoration efforts within the Conservation Area, and other bird study projects. We hope to attract campers that want an off-the-beaten-path type experience without having to go to the mountains.

Shadetree Overlook

Epic views and location

The family loved the spot and entire grounds. View was so great for sunset and despite being low 90's the circle of trees provided enough shave to keep everyone cool. Gated entrance to the property let us come and go with little worry about our valuables back at camp. Jordan and Rheanna were great hosts, responded immediately. We will be back.

2 people camping.

Fantastic trip. Very nice people. Safe and gated area. I would definitely come back! Lots of area to walk around. They also have 2 friendly dogs that were a treat to meet!!

Valley View 2

Nice views, mostly quiet, sunny

Tucked in the valley hills ~15 min from the main road, this campground offers a nice retreat from the city buzz. Although there’s still a city glow on the horizon, the stars shine bright. Spot is located at top of the hill, and if other campers are near by it’s very easy to hear. Also, the valley acts as an echo chamber, so campers down the hill can be heard. Most groups were quiet and respectful. Only one bathroom, and it’s a trek down the hill from some of the sites. No running water, and pack in pack out adds a bit of inconvenience after a few days with the trash bins being driving distance away. Bring shade, as sites without trees are very exposed and it gets hot and can be dusty!!

Spadefoot Grove 3

The group site was well apart from the other campsites so we never were bothered or felt like we were bothering the other campers. The size of the site was excellent for our event.
