Our property is just minutes from Mendocino's beaches, parks and sweet town, yet private and quiet as it is surrounded by 50,000 acre state forest with world class hiking and biking trails directly accessed from our place. Around the giant redwoods and meadows we have sprinkled in the most amazing little cabins, camp sites and deluxe bath house. We have a great outdoor camp kitchen available for your use. The redwood tree shower must not be missed! This is a very special experience for us to share with you. We are a family of campers. We agree, there's nothing better than a rest in a hammock following a hike or a beach day and a night under the stars without the constant dinging of cell and internet! Guests love staying here: "Such a lovely getaway! Our family of four and little dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heartwood. The cabins are great, with comfortable (warm) beds, very clean and cozy. It’s well worth the visit even in the winter! Really appreciated being outdoors surrounded by Redwoods, hiking the trails around the property, the modern bathrooms with hot showers, and the indoor sitting area to make coffee in the mornings. Our stay was relaxing, memorable and special!"

Gorgeous

Amazing spot nestled in the redwoods. If you are looking to disconnect yet be completely comfortable and cozy, this is the place. Kahmoor and Tim are wonderful wonderful hosts and people and the time, care and attention to detail they have put into Heartwood is evident and so appreciated! What a spot. I will certainly be back. 🙏🏼

Great Glamping Experience

Heartwood Mendocino offers an exceptional glamping experience. The tent cabin was impressive - comfortable and impeccably clean. It's clear that Khamoor takes pride in maintaining high standards. A standout feature was the bathing options. The bathhouse shower was well-maintained, but the tree shower was a unique treat that added to the outdoor experience. The outdoor kitchen was a pleasant surprise, well-equipped with everything needed for preparing meals in nature. The overall atmosphere perfectly balances comfort with a connection to nature. It's an ideal spot for those wanting to enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing too many creature comforts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Mendocino.

Huckleberry Camp Site

Wow that was relaxing!

Khamoor and her family have created a beautiful getaway at Heartwood Mendocino! The attention to detail with the shared kitchen, the luxury bathrooms and redwood shower takes this to the next level. We stayed at a tent site but definitely got a “glamping” experience because of the shared amenities. Thanks!!
