Our stay at Groundswell was excellent! Very peaceful and relaxing. Justin was friendly and responsive, and everyone we met was warm and welcoming. 🙂

magical night in the woods
Groundswell is absolutely magical! I wish we had come when there were more people as it sounds like such a great inclusive community where people eat together, have bonfires and work on the property together. It is also perfect for bringing a group of friends together as the cabins are stacked with bunks. There are also some cabins with bigger beds and good for couples I think as well. The cabins are very well decorated and have books for reading, art and include a heater as well - which saved me as I forgot my sleeping bag (can get a bit chilly at night here)! The hot tub was also amazing and they have a great shower/bathroom facility for all the campers. We didn't get to see the pond but I am sure it is a beautiful place to hang out and read. Since we only had one night there we stuck around the town and dad a great time there! There are lots of places to go wine tasting and shop around. We had an amazing breakfast at the Boonville General Store- amazing bacon and carrot bread!

Queer Community Cabins in the woods
My friends and I had an absolutely magical time staying at Groundswell. We didn’t get the chance to meet Justin, but Sprite hosted us and was very kind and responsive to our questions, as were other residents we met. The cabin was so cute and cozy, the queer summer camp of our dreams. We’re already ready to plan our next trip. So grateful such a healing and safe community space exists for queer nature time!
