Best hipcamp we have ever been to! The eastern gated site is very private and the trees provide good shade. Having three picnic tables was awesome for our group of 7 to spread out cooking and eating. We used the hot tub every night and grilled one night as well. The cherry on top is that there is a shower. Would recommend to a friend.

My boyfriend and I had such a sweet time at the Creek Site! Perfect amount of space for two, and we loved being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the creek and watching the stars! Having a flush toilet and shower available were major pluses, though keep in mind it’s a short uphill walk so if you have mobility issues this might not be the site for you. Walking around the property at sunset was amazing. Perfect distance to recreation sites in Auburn, Grass Valley, etc. Our only complaint was the 2nd night, a neighbor must have been moving some cows for transport and there was distressed mooing going on all night — but this isn’t Terry’s fault! We hope to be back again soon!

We loved the creek site! Everything was as described, loved the fire pit, hot tub, shower and fresh towels. Terry was very kind and gave us everything we needed to have a great stay.

We loved our spot in the gated camp site! We brought our adventurous doggo and he had a great time running around, and it was stress free for me because I knew he was in a safe enclosure. The entire property was absolutely beautiful, with plenty of trails for walking and even a pond with fish. We used the barbecue every meal and had a great time going for a dip in the hot tub. Terry was super kind and responsive. We’ll definitely be coming here again!

Absolutely beautiful property! Terry goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is flawless. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Creek flowing through with a little waterfall, deer, turkeys, a fox, and owls at night. The proximity to Nevada City and Auburn made it an ideal location for us (about 20mins to both) Don’t forget to say hi to Gordon, the playful and rambunctious Basset Hound. He’s definitely one of the main attractions!

We had an amazing experience staying on Terry's land with our travel trailer. The amenities (hot tub, potable water access, restroom, and hot shower) were all superb and camping sites are spacious and super quiet. Terry is very easy to connect with - both in advance and with anything needed while camping there. Nevada City and Grass Valley are both around 25 minutes away and the drive through the neighboring countryside to get there is gorgeous. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Great space, especially for families. Access to the deck with a grill was a nice touch. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked amazing, especially with the sunset.

What a beautiful property myself and my husband got lucky to stay the night on! Loved how the site is private with a propane fire pit readily available! Truly admired the lush landscape around the camp site as well as the creek, it was so peaceful sleeping with the sound of the creek while having the cool weather! Would definitely recommend!

The creek site was really nice! I slept in my car and could hear the creek all night. My dog had a blast running around the property, which is fenced and Terry was very nice! The jacuzzi was great! All around, good experience and I would go again!

We had a wonderful Labor Day holiday at Terry's campground.
Upon arrival, it was easy to find him and get instructions. Terry is very friendly.
We had a private camping area, which allowed our dogs to explore the place off-leash. The campfires are gas-powered, and Terry rents out propane tanks. The campsite is equipped with lights, fresh water, and electricity.
Hidden Falls Park, where you can enjoy hiking, is nearby. The location also features a hot tub and a bathroom with a shower, as well as a portable toilet near the camping area.

We had a great time, we were two families, a party of 8 on the creek site, it was a little tight but we managed to fit 2 6 person tents and a canopy for additional shade. The shared facilities, deck, grill, hot tub, shower and bathroom were in excellent condition and super clean.

We really enjoyed our time on Terry’s land. The nights were quiet and beautiful, the hot tub lovely and the blackberries completely scrumptious. Terry was a gracious and responsive host. Highly recommend!

We loved this site. There was plenty of privacy.
Our dogs had a blast!!
Perfect size for two tents, fell asleep listening to the creek.
The shower and hot tub were just an added bonus!

My wife and I loved our 2 night stay here. Terry was very attentive and made us feel like family. We stayed at the creek site and it was perfect. Gave us enough privacy and was more shaded. We camped in our rooftent and hearing the sound of the creek running while in our rooftent was very calming to me. Even with being next to a creek, the fire pit add on really helped keep the bugs away. I booked this place as a surprise trip for my wife and she loved it. Could not have been a more perfect site. The bathrooms were clean, the hot tub was amazing and my wife just loved everything about this place. Thank you Terry for everything!

The Creek Site was the perfect place for tent camping -- quiet and private. Access was easy, and the site amenities, including fresh water and a fire pit, made it very comfortable. Access to indoor plumbing and a shower was a huge plus.

Gorgeous spot, especially this time of year while the grass is green. Loved letting the pups explore the safe fenced area. There was power, water, and even some wifi at the site- and I had a little cell service with ATT.
Would absolutely camp here again.
