There is a full size bed in the front of the Airstream comfortable for 1 or two under 6 ft tall people. The dining table folds down into a table comfortable for shorter humans or children. This trailer is set up for DRY camping. The lights run of solar and their is a porta potty about 100 feet from the trialer. The refrigerator is to store non perishables (bring a cooler and ice) also consider bringing a camp stove to cook on or cook at the barn communal area where we have BBQs to use. I love this van so much! I drive it once a week to keep it moving. It sleeps two adults comfortably up top. The bench seat folds down for more sleeping. Ideally this is great for just two people. It is vintage with new beautiful upholster and curtains. Bring all your own bedding and pillows. The fridge is good for dry storage. Bring your own water and a wash tub for washing dishes outside, etc. etc. I am open to selling it for the right price. A new paint job would be nice but If I sell it someone may want to paint it a different color. If I could get 50k and discount 5k for paint so 45k I might consider selling it. I absolutely loved this Hipcamp—it felt like a truly magical place. At first glance, some might think the price is a bit high for dry camping, but once you arrive, it quickly feels like an incredible value. There’s so much to appreciate. My campsite had a stunning view, along with thoughtful amenities like a propane fire pit and picnic table—but what really makes this place special goes far beyond the basics. It’s the birds singing all around you, the sweet, earthy scent of the surrounding scrub, and the wildflowers scattered across the 50 acres that you can wander and explore. What stood out most was the care and intention behind every detail—from the peaceful layout of the land to the small, meaningful touches like solar-powered watering stations for dogs and wildlife. It’s clear this place was created with heart. I could go on, but honestly, you just have to experience it for yourself. There’s an energy here that’s hard to describe—and once you feel it, you won’t want to leave.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Greeted with a welcome drink and ride around the camp to pick our site. We were lucky enough to get Packs Peak with a 360 view of the rolling hills. The hosts and farm hands were so helpful with teaching us how to use everything and really made the experience so special! The property is easy to access and close by to Solvang which was a fun outing for us. We finished our trip with buying some farm fresh chicken and duck eggs! An unforgettable experience for sure!

Sierra and Darin are amazing hosts! We got a tour of their beautiful ranch, full of hidden gems scattered throughout the property. Every site has a breathtaking view, especially the view from deck. We loved exploring the hiking trails with our dog, then coming back to relax on the hammock. We can’t wait to visit again!

We lived camping here at Freedog Farms!! Not only were Sierra and Darin super welcoming. It they put a lot of effort in to make it a fun experience as well. Definitely get there early to get the full tour, it’s well worth it! You can tell how much work they have put into the entire property. We stayed at the Pack’s Peak site and the views were supreme!!

Completely exceeded my expectations. I went out there to tent camp, they have spots available with amazing views. Some spots are a little tougher to get to without 4-wheel drive. i had my toyota camry so i chose a closer spot, still have a beautiful 360 view. the hosts are super nice and accomodating. They also have several beer taps with a great selection available. They had a bunch of "there does not exist" beer on tap. as a beer head myself, i was pleasantly surprised. my girl drinks wine and they had plenty for her to choose from as well. anyway, 10/10 experience. 10 minute drive from solvang, 15 min from los olivos. ill be back soon. thanks guys

2. Camp In A 1984 VW Westfalia
My fiance and I stayed here with our two dogs and it’s was perfect! There was an option to sleep on the lower bed or upper and we did the lower and it was so comfortable. The host makes you feel right at home and we couldn’t believe how beautiful the property is. The camp spots are big and the views of the rolling green hills make you feel like you’re in other world. Highly recommend and we are already looking to book again next month

My wife and I had such an incredible time at Freedog Farms! Sierra, Darin, and Garrett were all so friendly and accommodating and really made us feel welcome. We knew we made the right decision when they immediately offered us drinks and took us and our dogs on a UTV tour of the whole property, which is incredibly charming and very private. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back!

Car camping was perfect here. Sadly, we arrived at 8pm but the night time vibes at the fire pit were so relaxing! Wish we had booked when it wasn't so muddy from the recent rain, but now we know for next time! Def want to go back when its dry, that way we don't have to leave early due to rain interference. The chickens eating out of the palm of our hand and letting us pet them were definitely the highlight!

Amazing!! I would definitely stay again! The land beautiful. We were welcomed with a tour of the property so many cool options where to stay - depending on your vehicle’s ability. Our guide - Garret was so informative & helpful. Our dogs were welcome & enjoyed our hikes around the property. It’s a fun place!

My two dogs and I had an absolutely magical stay here! There were so many unique sites to choose from, all with an amazing view and a propane fire. The hosts were incredibly warm and were kind enough to offer a local spot to help celebrate my friends birthday. We will definitely be returning!

this place was amazing! my partner and i stayed with our dog for a long weekend and darin and sierra were very welcoming. they know a bunch of cool stuff to do around the area and have a beautiful property you can explore. overall a great experience :)

Thank you to Darin and Sierra for giving us access to their beautiful camp ground! Everything from the amenities, the views, and the privacy was 10/10. All sites were well maintained and clean. Darin could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay near solvang area! Will be coming back often!

I had a great site at the top of the mountain. It had beautiful views from all sides with everything that makes a good experience great. Fremont was very impressed and was so happy he was able to run free in the great outdoors. This place has to be seen and experienced by anyone who enjoys Hipcamps. It is without question outstanding and I will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Free Dog Farms. The property is stunning and Sierra and Darin were communicative and friendly hosts. Really appreciated the warm welcome and informative tour Darin gave us. It's incredible what they have done with the property. The Airstream camper and site were perfect for our getaway. Can't wait to go back.

Darin was the most welcoming and genuinely great host I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with on HipCamp. Their property is beautiful and it was exciting seeing all of the farm animals, especially for my two year old. The fresh chicken and duck eggs were better than you could buy anywhere and the ribeye steak that Darin was so generous to grill and share with the rest of the guests was to die for. I will never forget this experience and sure to come back next spring.

I loved everything about Freedog Farms! I checked in late at night, and Sierra and Darin were kind enough to stay up and greet me at the gate. Not only that, they gave me a welcoming tour as well. Very kind, responsive, and helpful hosts, would definitely recommend this place to others.

We all loved camping at Sierra and Darin's land. It is a beautiful and quite serene area where groups of campers get quite a bit of privacy and space from others. The hosts are so kind, communicatice, and welcoming. We really enjoyed the welcome tour, learning about all the creative projects they have started to expand the services offered to campers. We will be going back and recommending to our friends and family.

Sierra and Darin have an epic place to camp! Their property is well maintained and clean. They provide gas fire pits at the campsites and ports potties throughout. The best part was their hospitality and open arms for new friends. They have a stocked bar and welcomed us with a great selection of beers to sip on as we took our little ones to see the chickens and goats. I do think that our dog had the most fun of us all. Being off-leash and able to explore was her favorite thing, and she enjoyed hanging out with the other pups of the campground. We will certainly be back, as one night was not enough.

I’m new to camping and this was my first campsite with my dog. What a wonderful campsite it was! Sierra & Darin are super passionate about everything they have to offer guests and they give you a tour when you arrive. There are several water stations on the property for dogs to drink from. Lots of land to hike around with your dog off leash. The umbrellas at the picnic tables have lights on the underside which was cool. Sites are spaced out nicely. It’s a great place to stay and I will definitely go back.
