Camp with sweeping views of beautiful pastureland in West Marin. Enjoy privacy, birds singing, cows, chickens, food from the farm, and hiking our gorgeous land that is on the Estero San Antonio. The campsites are spaced far apart from one another to ensure some privacy.  It is very quiet out here at night.  If there are other campers you might hear them in the distance.  All campsite are located overlooking the Estero and close to the grass road to enter and exit the property. You will have access to some of our pastures for picnics and leisurely walks.  When you check in we will give you directions to a few special places around the surrounding area and see if you would like some grassland finished beef, lamb, pork, eggs, or vegetables all grown or made on our ranch.  We offer other care packages, ask us when you arrive (include, home made focaccia, sourdough bread, local cheeses, etc...)  A liability waiver will be needed to be signed. This is primitive camping,  There is water but it is not potable. so bring your own drinking water. It can get very windy out here in Spring and Summer.  Come prepared.  We have situated the campsites to be on the leeward side and as protected as possible.  We try to leave the land better off than we found it and hope that you will share the same respect for the pristine beauty of this place. We are 10 minutes away from the quaint town of Tomale and 15 minutes from the town of Valley Ford. Dillon Beach is only 3.5 miles away.  Bring your own kayak or canoe and paddle to the ocean down the Estero San Antonio! This site is right by the Estero San Antonio. Protected from the Westerly winds. It is the farthest camp site and the most secluded. Enjoy expansive views of the Estero San Antonio and all of the wildlife it attracts. There is space for two small tents or one large (4 person) tent. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this land and the singing of the birds in the nearby trees. There is parking for one car spaciously or two cars close together. You will have access to our pastures for picnics, leisurely walks, at your choosing. When you check in we will give you directions to a few special places on the ranch. This site is right next to the Estero San Antonio. There is a willow and a nice lush bank to relax and read by. Easy put in for kayaks. The walk to the bathroom is a short trip up a mowed trail. There is space for 1 large tent or 2 small tents. This campsite has no running water and no fire ring, but it is by the water's edge, perfect for a camper van. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this land and the singing of the birds in the nearby trees. There is parking for 1 car or two if you are willing to wiggle. You will have access to our pastures for picnics, leisurely walks, at your choosing. When you check in we will give you directions to a few special places on the ranch. The Great Blue Heron

This site is removed from our primitive camping sites and located just down the road with it's own private entrance and parking. The Great Blue Heron is a refurbished trailer nestled beneath a large bending willow tree, and abutting the Estero San Antonio Waterway (just 10 ft. away from the waters edge). The surrounding space has lots of flat areas for additional tent set up, and direct access for canoes or kayaks. There is plenty of space for picnicking, laying out, lounging in the hammock with a good book, or BBQing up a local seasonal feast. The trailer interior is large enough to accommodate two adults comfortably, for larger groups of four there is exterior space for 1-2 additional tents. Some of the site amenities include: - Queen size bed- Bed linens & towels provided- Running water- Outdoor shower- Private compostable toilet - Electric cooktop- Basic cookware- Table settings for two - Under counter refrigerator- Outdoor deck with small seating area- Hammock - Large outdoor grill- Large stainless steel table for outdoor food prep- Outdoor dining table with seating for two- Large flat areas for additional tent set up- Direct access to the river- All day access to our farm-pick up shop Please keep in mind that this is not a hotel or glamping site. It is a refurbished trailer in a beautiful outdoor location. Think camping with a comfy bed, and more privacy. With that being said, there is not a lock on the door, there can be drafts at times, visits from our insect friends, and sometimes sounds from neighboring farm animals. Those things considered this is a very relaxing and secluded space perfect for a creative getaway, and close to lots of fun places to explore. Being on the water we invite you to bring your own kayak or canoe and paddle to the ocean down the Estero San Antonio! We are 5 minutes away from the quaint town of tomales, 10 minutes away from Dillon beach, and about 30 minutes away from Bodega Bay Beaches, and 40 minutes from Point Reyes. We also have a pick-up shop across the road from this site which offers our beef, lamb, pork, chicken, eggs, gelato, and focaccia all made or grown here on site. We will reach out before your arrival for offerings, ordering ,and pickup information.  We try to leave the land better off than we found it and hope that you will share the same respect for the pristine beauty of this place. We will take care of the composting toilet, but ask all guests to pack out their trash and food waste.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Estero San Antonio Wonderland, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The campsite is nestled in a stunning natural setting, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. We brought our kayak and embarked on an incredible five-hour adventure, paddling to the coast and back, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The wildlife was abundant and fascinating—during our journey, we great horned owls, hawks, ospreys, egrets, and herons, adding to the enchanting experience. One of the highlights was the solitude; we had the area to ourselves, which made it all the more special. Overall, if you're looking for a campsite that offers both natural beauty and opportunities for exploration, Estero San Antonio Wonderland is a fantastic choice. I can’t recommend it enough for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts!

Lovely spot that really showcases Emily & Guido’s care for the land (and their campers). It did get very windy but the access was well described, the beef from the farm shop was delicious, and my site was well mowed and signed, spacious, and had a picnic table and fire pit with a water bucket for safety. I brought my kayak and enjoyed a morning paddle on the peaceful estero as well. Hope to come back!

"Campfires and Coastal Adventures"
The Great Blue Heron
We had an incredible camping experience at Great Blue Heron. The picturesque landscape and well-maintained campsite allowed us to disconnect fully and immerse ourselves in nature. The Farm Store was exceptional; we ended up buying firewood multiple times, a testament to our love for cozy campfires. The unique shaving wood toilet was an unforgettable experience! We also explored nearby attractions like Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach, and the charming small towns. Our stay at Guido and Emily's land was truly memorable. Thank you for such a wonderful adventure!

Wow! This place is so charming. If is rustic, but the setting and location couldn’t be any better. We were woken up each morning by 20 different species of birds and could hear the owls at night. It is only a couple of miles from town and a 10 minute drive to the beach! The water is steps from the front door and the farm stand offerings are delicious!

The Great Blue Heron
The camper was in a very peaceful, beautiful spot! The amenities at the farm stand were fantastic. The color of the egg shells were so pretty and the yolks were a deep orange. I would definitely stay here again, it’s close to a lot of great places and I appreciate the philosophy of the farmers (regenerative grazing, hedgerows, integrated pest management).

Gem of a spot near Bodega Bay
The Great Blue Heron
This was a perfect spot to cozy up in to explore Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach and the surrounding area. The setup has a lot of personality and care. The bed was super comfy. The grill setup was fantastic. This place is a gem worth visiting.

We loved the privacy of the Heron site. It had all the little touches to make this a true lovely getaway. Great access to local attractions and stores, lots of cute baby animals at farms along the way. Huge fan of the outdoor shower. Hosts were helpful!

It was very peaceful. The night sky was beautiful. We could hear frogs. It was a very relaxing stay. We haven’t try the steaks and chicken yet but they look amazing. And the eggs are so beautiful and yummy and the yolks are dark. The farm shop is a bonus:)

Enjoyed a Monday night visit. Very quiet and no other campers. Loved just looking at the Estero, watching birds, sheep and visiting big white dogs (they keep their distance). Night was cold with some ice and morning fog was heavy until about 8:30amish. Then things warmed up again. Felt very peaceful.

The Great Blue Heron
We stayed in the Cute and cozy trailer. The bed was so comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was raining during our stay and the covered porch kept us dry while we cooked on the BBQ. Very private little spot even though it’s tucked away but near the road, very few cars passed by so it felt like a serene little getaway’

Beautiful land and camping spot overlooking the stream with animals chittering away here and there. The composting toilet and the Farm Store was thoughtful and sweet. We brought a travel trailer that set up nicely in the spot, the fire ring was perfect for campfires! Wonderful!! Thank you!

The spot was so peaceful and we had such a nice time in the camp, looking at the stars at night and birds during the day. The directions were great, and it was really easy to find where we needed to go. We stayed at the Goose camp, furthest down, and just next to the stream. Highly recommend!

We've stayed here a couple times over the years. I appreciate how the grass has grown up and has made the sites more private. What I love about this site is it's so quiet out there. I mean, sooo quiet. We were at Egrets Nest and staying in a van for reference.

We love camping at Guido and Sarah’s land. It was an amazing one night camping! You can hear bird singing. They were very kind to lend us their camping tent since we forgot to bring our tent poles. That was very nice of them! The meat and eggs they sell in their farm shop is tastefully amazing!

Wonderful site. East enough to put a paddleboard into the water with my 4-year-old (banks were a bit steep, but nothing we couldn’t handle, and putting in right from our site can’t be beat). The outhouse is surprisingly nice. I love how spread out the sites are; gave us a nice sense of privacy. Also, the farm shop is really convenient. We got firewood and beautiful eggs. Thank you!

The Great Blue Heron
We loved spending time at this site! The RV is soooo cozy and plenty of spots to set up a tent for extra space. Equipped with a grill and fire pit to cook up their delicious meats. Firewood bundles easily accessible at the farm store.

Camping at the Goose Nest was sublime! There were no other campers when I stayed (one night) midweek and adored every minute of the quiet solitude--happily disrupted only by cows, owls, and raccoons (yes, keep a clean camp or I'm sure the 'coons will riffle through your food bins)! As a woman traveling solo and I felt completely safe here; campsites are tucked well away from the road. It was a great escape from the blasting heat of the interior--cool breezes+foogy overnight! I would stay again without hesitation--Highly Recommend! Don't try bringing a trailer to the tent campsites however; space is limited and not enough room to turn around. I'm glad I left my 13-foot trailer at home! A camper van would have no issues however.
