The Deep Creek Hot Springs Campground is located on a beautiful 160-acre property known as the Bowen Ranch, amidst iconic Joshua Trees and ancient Junipers. Situated on the edge of the San Bernardino Mountains in the Mojave Desert, this rural off-the-grid property is surrounded by thousands of acres of pristine undeveloped land managed by the BLM and USFS, making it the perfect place to escape the city and appreciate nature at it's finest. Not only can you be outgoing and adventurous while staying on our property, but you can relax and recharge with us here, too! Staying on this rural 160 acre slice of nature allows one to escape the sounds and stresses of the city and become one with nature. The desert can be very peaceful and healing to the soul, and our property provides just enough privacy and plenty of nature to help you forget about all of your worries for a brief moment. This privately owned property is the closest in proximity to the Deep Creek Hot Springs and has been used as a camp and access point to the Deep Creek canyon and hot springs for nearly 100 years. The Deep Creek Canyon also offers gold panning, swimming holes and excellent fishing as it winds 12 miles through the canyon. This unique property is the perfect place for friends to gather and celebrate, or hold your special private event, either in our general camping area, glamping and recreation tent area, private group area, or at the private spring pool site located right on the property. We can accommodate approximately 300 people and 90 vehicles. All sites have a picnic table and a fire pit (grills available and firewood for sale on site), and room to set up 3-4 tents and park 3-4 cars. Large private group sites and private event venue rental available for up to 300+. Warnings: Must drive 6-mile dirt road to access, intermittent cell service, very rural area 12 miles from services, possible encounters with wild animals/insect swarms and unhospitable neighbors on occasion.

Hot Spring HideOut in Juniper Flats
Great place to unwind! We were the only ones at the tent site, though there was a larger group at one of the glamping tents. They weren't too loud. Has running showers and a toilet, which is always welcome. We hiked to the hot springs in the morning, and WHEW that is not an easy hike back up, so be prepared and consider not bringing young kids.

Juniper Glamping Tent (4+guests)
Great hidden get away from the city lights. Nice place to startgaze and hike. Stings are quite a hike down. Take good hiking shoes, water flask, towel and sunscreen. Advise to hike early am. Air mattress failure, but good for cooler weather get away. It is the desert.

Private Hot Spring Pool Sanctuary
Framly funtime!
Our group had an amazing time. We enjoyed our time even though it rained the last day. It started a little bumpy due to some yellowjackets that were swarming when we got there, but they sent someone to spay down the rocks, which worked pretty well. I was grateful that Brent and the guy who checks you in responded quickly to this issue, and by evening we had started to soak and had a great 2 nights.

Off-The-Grid Camping Tent
There isn’t a better place to stay!
I didn’t know what to expect when booking this spot but wow! That’s the best way I can explain the experience. It’s way off the beaten path (make sure your car is ready! Ours was struggling a bit) This is truly off the grid and beautiful. We went mid week and we were the only people staying at the site! Can’t get more private then that! The solar showers worked great! There is a flushing toilet that was clean. The whole place is stunning! It rained a lot during our stay and the tents stayed dry and warm. The host was very sweet and accommodating. We bought firewood from him. And they were kind enough to let us have an extra lantern during our stay. This place is one of a kind and a must stay! We will be back!!

Hot Spring HideOut in Juniper Flats
Cool place!
We went when it was still pretty hot, but the breeze made it bearable. The camp was pretty empty near the glamping tents. Got a great spot with our little camper trailer! Area was clean, toilets flushed, shower tents had warm water and felt great after a long hike. The hike to the springs was as challenging as they say, but was very doable and well marked. The springs were magical!! Very fun!! We’ll be back!!

Tan Dome Tent #1
Nice way to go glamping. The only drawback, and it’s not their fault, no real shade. I should have brought a pop up. Love they had showers and a proper toilet. Overall, great experience.
