Sitting one mile high exactly on the side of the mountain, with views of the desert, mountains, and city lights below! . I have 2 other short-term rentals on the same 5 acres and the reviews have been so amazing I decided to expand to camping, RVs, etc. A large flat lot (50' x100') could host up to about 3 RVs (depending on the size) and tents. There is water, good WiFi, septic hook-up, and electricity in a limited capacity (solar and wind-powered). There are generators available. The property sits up against The Transitionary Habitat nature preserve and there are 350 acres of hiking in the Puma Canyon. You are literally surrounded by nature, a true escape but with the city lights in the backdrop! There are tables, chairs, tiki torches, bean bag toss, horseshoes, and a gas fire pit. The road to the property is narrow and steep, so please consider this when booking. We've had hundreds of groups navigate the roads with no problem, including 48 foot RVs. If you have concerns about whether or not your vehicle can make it, please don't hesitate to message me.

It’s a nice view, but the electric was not a legitimate hook up, rather a number of extension cords through a power strip. The fuse blew and wasn’t corrected causing all of our food to go bad. There is only one location for sewage and water hook up and the host rented to two rvs at the same time making the hook up not accessible for our RV. His response to my complaint was to blame me for blowing the fuse claiming that I had used large appliances which is not true. The access road is also very dangerous. I was happy to have made it out.

Quiet mountainside retreat!
The spot is gorgeous! We stayed for July 4th and it was exactly what we were looking for: Fireworks view with none of the noise and crowds. It was pretty hot when we were up there, but absolutely gorgeous in the evenings. There’s lots of room- we hope to bring friends with us next time and rent the whole place. Max was SUPER accessible and communicative. We’ll be back!

Great view of the Mojave Plateau
The dead end is a beautiful spot up high, where you can have a wonderful view of the Mojave Plateau. Max is a friendly and very helpful host. He even helped us find the RV spot after dark. The road to the spot is definitely doable with an RV. The parking area is 100% flat and large! We spent a wonderfully relaxing last day of vacation here! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful View
Max was a great host. We arrived very late and he was there to help us out. Beautiful view. Puma trails are right around the corner. He provides gas grills with utensils. There is an electic hook-up and dump station as well. Internet is very reliable too. One suggestion to those not familiar with the area, try to arrive before dark. The roads can be a little confusing, but no problem during the day.

Dead End Campground ENTIRE GROUNDS
The place was great. Awesome view with water hook-ups and sewer. Even have electric outlets for basic electric needs (not for AC or microwaves). Max was a great host. From the very start, he responded in a very timely manner and answered all my questions even before the booking process. Lots of space for group camping. Very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this place to anyone.
