DABUDAGE in southern Big Sur. ***READ THIS ENTIRE WRITTEN DESCRIPTION BEFORE REQUESTING TO BOOK!* And Format Request as Specified *. Disconnect from the virtual world and surround yourself in nature. At the base of a deep canyon with tall mountains, along a flowing creek near the ocean. Backed by redwood trees and surrounded by national forest is a minimalistic homestead with family, friends and animals. *We currently only accept reservations for dates within the next 3 weeks*. You must Arrive Before Dark to find your site. There is no wi-fi, cell service or electricity. Hwy 1 is currently closed to the north of this land. The only access is through Cambria from the south or over the mountain from King City off of Hwy 101 There is a small communal guest kitchen, fresh water, a shower/bath and composting barrel poopers. A massive flood in Jan 2021 brought 100's of gigantic full sized redwood trees and boulders smashing down thru most of the previous structures. It is in the process of rebuilding. Children are welcome. Alcohol is discouraged. No electronic music devices. Fires in designated pits only. Dogs are welcome off-leash. Pack out trash. A Place to Camp

Really enjoyed tent camping on Gene’s land. The access to gas stoves and hot water plus a dedicated area for cleaning dishes was fantastic. Plus the cats on the property were super friendly and fun to have around. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Cabana with Futon

Disconnected. Reconnecting.

Great and cozy lil spot. The hammock surprised me and they even provided extra blankets! It was a short walk to the beach and it was even enjoyable just to explore the area around the campsite. Great place to disconnect (easy to do when there's no signal).

A Place to Camp

Our personal solace

What a beautiful property. Our family absolutely loved it. We loved that it was remote and right by a flowing creek that you could hear from your tent. Being able to take a hot shower after a day at the beach and hiking was such a nice addition. Our kids played with the host's son who was so sweet and showed our boys the area and good climbing spots. Aside from the cutest kitchen nook there is a large sink with hot water for dishes. All the amenities made our trip feel so posh but quaint. Definitely want to come back and explore the creek walk to the beach, we heard it has the best sunset views.

Redwood Room Gazebo

We were in the redwood gazebo; the view from the room is pretty gorgeous and the whole property is in a really pretty spot off highway 1. Animals everywhere and the kitchen/campfire areas are easy to find. Would recommend!

Big Sur Happy Place

This spot is amazing! We went for New Year's for a couple of nights and it was magical. Camp-firing by the creek, walking to the ocean, and chilling with the sweetest cat ever, Noche, was fantastic. 10 stars, highly recommend!!

A Place to Camp

We loved camping next to Mill Creek at Dabudage. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to stay fueled and the bath house was so healing. You could see the ocean from most spots on the land and the friendly kitties kept us entertained. I’m ready to go back and spend more time there! 🤗
