Come camp in our beautiful orchard in Crescent City!  Whether you're sleeping in your car or full-on camping, we offer 2 private campsites that come equipped with WIFI, BBQ fire pits and picnic tables. We are set back off the main road on a gated property, close enough to the beach to smell the salty air. Come stay at our place while you explore the redwoods, gorgeous local beaches and the beautiful Oregon coast. We look forward to sharing this incredible experience with you. If you are traveling by RV you could also choose to park in our gorgeous RV space outside the city near Florence Keller Park. Beautiful, gated and secluded, the space is surrounded by lush green grass, flourishing apple trees and a long established kiwi bush; close enough to the beach to hear the waves. Site 1, the 35 ft. RV port has electric and water hook ups. Site 2 is not covered but also includes electric, water and wifi. Both sites are wide enough to open all your pop-outs.  We welcome your non-aggressive furry friends. We also offer two other listings in the Carrizo Plains, CA between San Louis Obispo and Taft. Please contact me if Hipcamp sends a location or directions for anywhere else. We have a great spot where you can enjoy California's most hidden gem and take advantage of this private campground. With all Soda Lake has to offer, check out the wineries and beaches of San Louis Obispo, San Andreas Fault, Los Padres National Forest and behold the secrets California still holds. We are so happy to share this unique experience with you! Please note, our camp listing offers dry camping only.  There is no toilet at the property. There is a pit toilet 10 minutes away at the Soda Lake overlook. Lastly you could choose to stay in our Little Brave House which offers unique accommodations in the middle of this incredible setting. Our off-the-grid cabin offers most of the comforts of home, including a brand new Zinus cloud memory foam mattress, Joolca bathroom and shower tent, solar electricity, comfy, clean accommodations, books and games. Leave your world behind for a while and come see what nature has to offer.

Easy to get to
This was a mostly fine stop on our way up to Oregon. It was grassy with trees on one side and flat, small picnic table, hammock and nice fire pit we’re provided. We added on the bundle of firewood and it was there when we arrived, 2 of the pieces were already partially burned so that was weird. There is a house across the road with a crazy bright floodlight pointed straight at this area so be choosy about where you set up your tent or vehicle. There were two tent sites and we couldn’t remember which one we booked so we texted the host and never got a response, of course we figured it out but I’m glad we didn’t actually need anything. The toilet provided was a gross port a potty and the shower was an empty sunshower hanging at your site. Like I said, it was fine for one night, but I prefer a clean bathroom for the price.

Convenient, Peaceful & Dry (covered
This is a wonderful place to camp in Crescent City. It is in a little neighborhood, but quiet and peaceful, with the beach and redwoods just a short bike ride away. We loved the covered site for our camper van. It was perfect to keep our stuff dry when the fog came in during the night. We loved seeing the chickens and visiting with the sweet pot belly pig.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Lovely outdoor shower, privacy fences around sites, host offers wifi. Picnic tables, fire pits, and portapotty all available. She even has cute hammocks and string lights hung up between the trees!
