One of the highlights is our pristine drinking water sourced from the nearby North Fork of the Smith River. Take a short 600-foot walk along a scenic trail, originating across the quiet, dead-end street from the property, to reach a breathtaking bluff overlooking the North Fork Smith River. Venture another 800 feet, and you'll discover the confluence of the North Fork and Middle Fork Smith River – a world-class swimming hole offering a refreshing escape on warm days.
Our camping experience strikes the perfect balance between rustic simplicity and luxury. Embrace the off-grid charm with no electricity (except for solar lights), spotty cell service, and a composting toilet.Yet, revel in the indulgence of a wood stove complete with firewood, a queen-sized bed, and the convenience of a paved driveway. There is a market a short walk or drive away for basic staples.

Privacy is paramount in our neighborhood, characterized by large lots ranging from 1 to 5 acres. No neighbors are visible from the tent platform, allowing you to unwind and reconnect with nature undisturbed. A delightful little creek flows just 5 feet away from the tent, adding to the tranquil ambiance.

Please acknowledge the following before booking:
1. We only have a compost toilet, which uses a simple "bucket system". You are responsible for using the toilet correctly, which includes dumping the compost onto the pile, and rinsing the bucket upon leaving.
2. We have a bed, but you are expected to bring your own linens. (sleeping bags, etc)
3. You must pack out all your trash.
4. You must clean up after yourself, and leave the camp as clean as you found it. We don't have a cleaning service, or charge a fee!
5. We ask that you respect the neighborhood by keeping music and other noise to a reasonable level.
