We can accommodate tent campers or car campers. Each campsite fits 4-6 people. The price is $40/per person. Kids under 12 are free. Most campsites are accessible by car and all campsites are accessible by foot. PLEASE NOTE, we do not have a traditional check in procedure. Campsites are first come first serve. Expect a "self-check in process" most of the time. However, there are sometimes people working onsite that you may run into, that are happy to help and lead you in the right direction. You choose your own campsite so plan to arrive early. You can park and walk around. There is signage that says "CAMP" with Arrows. BYO water. We have sulfur spring water. Great for your skin, not good to drink! There's a couple outhouses on the property. One in the main camp zone, one at the far north end of the lower Redwood campsite. You can also bring a shovel and take a walk if you're in the more remote campsites. We have a dumpster outside the gate for your garbage. IMPORTANT INFO Please don't mind our farm junk/tools as you enterGate 1! We are slowly working on clean up and relocation of materials from the entry road and away from view. Before you arrive, have knowledge of poison oak because it is a native plant. The main photos in the listing are taken from Hipcamp Scouts back in 2018 and they are featuring our Original campsite. This is located past the mineral baths. It's the furthest one to reach, and accessible by foot. I will update photos to depict all the campsites, but please share your photos with us on Instagram and tag @charanspringsfarm to help future campers get a view of what the sites look like with a tent set up! It's primitive camping on a private property with bonuses like the garden, rustic baths, and beautiful nature. This property has been a working farm for decades, which has struggled with hard times. If farm yards/junk piles make you uncomfortable or give you a creepy feeling, don't book because our boneyard is adjacent to the entry road and it can't be ignored. My boyfriend, small dog and I stayed for a night. We wanted something inexpensive where we could drive right up to the site, had someone on site because we had never been to the area and were getting in after sunset, and was in a wooded rural surrounding. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. One of them met us at the entrance & took us around the property to explain the different site options (we were the only ones there! There were 8 different sites - all fairly close to each other, but I could tell that if multiple were full - you’d still have your own private space.) They brought us firewood and helped us set up our fire! I saw some negative reviews about the junk yard … which I’m confused about?! I thought it was super cool. It’s not anywhere near where you actually camp… it’s right when you pull onto the land and then you drive probably half a mile into the woods. It was cool to see all the stuff they have collected. From airstreams, to big CATS, cars, etc. Yea, can look a little eerie at first, but it’s apart of the experience. good place to stop and camp for a night when you are in between your trip. It’s super close to the town of Cambria - which has a ton of little restaurants, bars, etc. tons of farm animals surrounding. One of the guys who lives on site there, Rob, has starlink at his house and allows you to connect to it! Thanks Guys, you made us feel very safe. 👍

What a gem!

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of days mid-week, and it was divine. We hiked up the creek and took a little dip, visited the old mines, soaked in the mineral baths, and enjoyed the serene nature. The people who live on the property are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Such good energy! We will definitely be coming back!

Camping here was great. Hosts were nice and friendly and they offered us some food from their farm. Wonderful people. Great environment. A surface reflection of how the camping world should be.

The address says Cambria but this is far enough inland that it doesn’t have the coastal coolness I was hoping for. Additionally, the “farm junk” and “boneyard” is just junk-junk. It’s trashy. We didn’t stay. Paid for two nights and the mineral tubs but took a look around, and drove away. I didn’t request a refund because the description did warn about the junk, but it was worse than I thought.

My daughter and I stayed one night while on a road trip up the 101. It was super cute and everyone was so friendly. It's a working farm so even though there was no one to greet us when we arrived the signs direct you where to go and we got set up no problem. It's maintained but more wild, rustic nature, definitely not a glamping situation, just a heads up if that's not your style-we're used to backcountry and primitive camping so were self contained and prepared but there was running water and even a flush toilet in the outhouse. While we were exploring everyone we came across stopped to chat and were all very welcoming. I forget his name (Rob or Bob maybe?) but the gentleman who lives in the cabin closest to the campsites was so nice, he showed us where a cool hike was that went to a stream and swimspot and even gave us plums straight from the tree by where we were camped! It's an easy drive not too far from the town of Cambria so you can enjoy the beach all day then head out to camp under the trees. Would definitely return.

So we arrived here with my truck and trailer we opened the gate to alot of older possibly abandoned cars? We went to our redwoods campsite which was nice there were some leftover items that caused us some slight concern. It wasn’t for a trailer however and we couldn’t get a good set up going. We drove around the campsite to find 3 other campsites but what they don’t show you is that it’s right next to a house that is a little run down honestly so we didn’t feel comfortable staying here and left we got a little bit of a refund but we didn’t stay there at all. I wouldn’t rebook myself as it wasn’t really what I was looking for and we didn’t like how it wasn’t shown all the cars and houses on the property.

Took my wife, our 2 dogs and I to a weekend camping at this place and couldn’t have a better time! The mineral bath experience was absolutely amazing! Also, the guy (I forgot his name) that lives close to the camp sites was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! He even gave us local grown cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, and much more! I wish I could post a picture

Beautiful property, feels private, beautiful stream. Our dog loved it and it was super quiet. You are definitely roughing it and expect that. We especially loved neighboring town Cambria .

Rob, the caretaker was so kind and generous with our kids, showing them the farm and explaining all the ins and outs. It’s a hidden gem, quiet and peaceful, 20 minutes from the gorgeous beaches and town of Cambria. There’s so much to enjoy here on the central coast. We came with 6 kids. It’s also great for adults only. The campsites are spread apart and the grounds are shady, quiet and great for healing from the sounds and pace of the city.

We had a wonderful stay at Charan Springs Farm's camp site. It was so beautiful, peaceful, tranquil, and easy to find. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

As they say in their listing, it’s definitely not glamping. You drive past numerous old cars and construction equipment on the way in. Even a boat. All of them in various stages of decay. However the actual campsites are shaded and good sized, with nice fire rings. I was pleasantly surprised to find a flush toilet instead of a pit. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. In the evening one came by with boxes of fruits and vegetables that hadn’t sold that day in their roadside stand. He said take what you want. Nice! Then I found out they have Starlink internet. Awesome, since the property is out of cell phone range. There is a shower and two tubs, but you need to be comfortable with public nudity to use them as they are out in the open.

Charming, beautiful and secluded spot. Camp host was very helpful and friendly. There are a bunch of hiking trails that we'll check out next time we're in the area. Not glamping and we loved it.

Beautiful setting, greeted by deer on drive in. Off the beaten path, but close to town. Enjoyed a peaceful night of sleep with the croaking sound of frogs (and not coincidentally, a lack of mosquitoes). Some of the dirt roads in are a bit narrow, but easy to spread out and find a spot to call your own once at the main site. Would camp here again!

We loved our stay at Charan Springs! The staff were great and very helpful. We had a blast exploring the property with our toddler! We snagged the perfect camping spot next to the redwoods and had the creek just a few feet from us.

There was no indication that the location would have no amenities at all. There was no place to put trash and no place to put your things except for the dirt and a small stump so bring your own table and trash can and you’ll be good. There was a small creek with very little water. Also the host behaved like there would be some kind of mineral bath, but then they disappeared and we didn’t see or hear from them again and also had no response once I asked for even a partial refund because we ended up not staying. For 80$ I felt like that was not a reasonable price.

Such a cool place with so much to explore! Rob was a lovely steward, showing us the way to some amazing swimming holes and giving us fresh produce for the road! Hope to be back one day.

I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Creekside Camping and Mineral Baths. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with campsites nestled right by the creek. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help if needed, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re guy who dont like fancy, I highly recommend this place.

I loved the panaromic views throughout the drive to the place alongside learned how cool it is dummy chain yourself into the property, super amazing host and hippie vibes. Thankyou for the cool disperse camping experience. One of my favorite places to camp and chill.

There’s really no place like this. You can feel, see and appreciate the love and care that goes into this property. You’re basically camping on a fruit orchard with a mineral spring. The creek is beautiful, calming and peaceful, with a number of easily walkable swimming holes. Lots of space, with isolated campsites as well as some that are closer together, so you can find solitude or sociability as you desire. Dogs love it. Robo and Mike are outstanding hosts. I look forward to coming back!

The location of the camping area down in the creekbed is absolutely idyllic. The whole place has been so lovingly cared for and developed, you feel it all around you. We had the most wonderful weekend we’ve had a long time! Just pure joy and relaxation. It was a perfect combination of privacy in nature, plus community with a lovely group of humans and dogs celebrating July 4 together. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Best experience!!! Came with my girlfriend for our 6month anniversary and had so much fun. Everyone on the site is so sweet and friendly. Had the best time in the mineral baths as well will be going back!!!
