Come stay in a cabin or pitch a tent with friends and family and enjoy endless miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park.  Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds. Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC. We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups. May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge. The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family! Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild! The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Grab the best quesadillas and drinks from the Way Baby or delicious coffee and breakfast from The Valley Grind.

Propane fire pits are available for rent when campfires are no longer permitted in the summer months. There is an ice machine during the summer months on the dining deck of the Main Lodge. The Ridge View Tent

Leave the hassle of packing your own tent behind and come enjoy the "glamping" experience in our canvas tent. The tent is on a redwood deck with a covered front porch staring out at Keddie Peak. There is a cozy king size mattress complete with bedding. Use the Keurig for morning coffee as you relax in the chairs on the front porch. A picnic table is located outside of the tent. There is a shower house within a short walking distance with hot water showers and flush toilets. Propane fire-pits are available for an extra fee. Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park. Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. Great place to camp with the family. The swimming hole, hot water showers and grill were all a huge bonus. The couple who run the camp are very sweet and clearly love the land. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Loved it! Sutter and Taylor were super kind and helpful. We greatly appreciated the free access to ice, firewood when we ran out, hot showers, potable water and all at a really good daily rate. We walked to the nearby small creek for our dogs to play in, walked around their entire property to see the pond and horses and just enjoy the scenery, and played on their ropes course, too - so much harder than it looks! We were only a short 15-20 minute drive to Lake Almanor and hung out there one afternoon. Highly recommend supporting this campground!

The Little Grey Cabin
We had an amazing time at Coppercreek Camp. The Little Grey Cabin was perfect for my family! The property was beautiful. Lots of big green trees and lots of shade! Endless fun for my daughter. Between the horses, mini horses, all the frogs in the pond and ESPECIALLY the rope course!! Such a cool activity. We were there 2/3 times each day. The cabin was spotless and cozy and the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen while camping!! I highly recommend Coppercreek!! We will definitely come back for more fun!

The Ridge View Tent
Absolutely loved Sutter & Taylor’s land. Coppercreek is one of the most beautiful and serene campsites. Our accommodations were clean & comfortable. Having showers on site was a plus. Couldn’t ask for a better nights stay- Thanks Sutter & Taylor…..see you next year-

We loved car camping at Copper Creek! The hosts were super responsive and made it easy for us to find the site after dark. The camp beautiful and has everything you need and the horses frolicking in the field were an added bonus!

Coppercreek Camp Tent Camping
This a really nice place. It's super clean, the facilities are great. You don't have to spend much time in the area to know, the whole community is recovering from a devastating fire. There is still so much the area has to offer. The camp survived pretty well, it's a great place, the hosts were amazing. If not for miles of and 1,000s of acres of fire damaged forests you drove through to get there... you would not know it from inside the camp itself. If you going to Lassen, come out and support the community of Greenville.

The Overlook Cabin
We had the most amazing time at Coppercreek! My husband went to summer camp there all throughout his childhood in the 90s and always talked about how much fun he had at this place. It was great to get away from the busyness of life and enjoy some peace and quiet. The amenities were more than I thought! Bathroom was great with hot water. the overlook was so comfortable. There was a little table and outdoor seating on the deck. The ice machine makes the BEST ice! We had a good time playing corn hole and basketball, and we really enjoyed watching the horses. We definitely look forward to coming back here and hopefully we will bring more of the family to join next time! It was really cool to see the parts of camp that survived the fire still full of life and stories. Thank you for opening up your space to us Sutter and Taylor!

The Little Grey Cabin
Clean, new cabin with thick bed mattresses, heater, and electricity at a camp recovering from the 2021 wildfire that burned their old cabins and much of the town. Beautiful, quiet camp setting in tall pines with few signs of 3yr ago fire. I was only HipCamper so it was quiet and private.. Bath House with showers & flush toilets beside cabin. Cold potable water and ice available at dining hall very close cabin.

Coppercreek Camp Tent Camping
Coppercreek is a special place and we had an amazing time van camping at this site. We appreciated the quiet, chill atmosphere and ease of access to bathrooms, showers, fresh water and an ice machine. The propane grill near the meadow and volleyball court was a great addition. We enjoyed walking around the expansive property, looking at the horses, trying out the low ropes course, playing ping-pong, cornhole and card games on the deck. Breathtaking sunset views are easy to find if you hike up the hill in the evening. The area is prone to fires and the community has demonstrated resilience in rebuilding following the Dixie Fire in 2021. Nevertheless, the natural beauty of Coppercreek, Greenville and Plumas County remains. Since open fires are not permitted, we added a propane fire pit to our reservation, which was extremely easy to use and cozy at night! It was definitely hot while we were there but we cooled off at nearby Indian Falls and took a trip to Lake Almanor. Thank you Sutter and Taylor for being excellent hosts!

Wonderful family owned campground. They were so nice and accommodating. Recent fires have burned the area around the campground but inside the campground the trees remain. It's quiet with all sorts of fun stuff around like table tennis, basketball and a rope course. There are horses and stables and plenty of nature hikes. They even let me charge my EV as I was nervous about my range. Highly recommended.

Returning back to Coppercreek after being a camper there for 6 years was such a joy!! The cabins were perfect for a weekend getaway and there were plenty of tent sites to choose from for my friends as well. Has all the amenities you could need for a weekend in the woods. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a peaceful, nature filled oasis.

I would highly recommend this campground. Zero complaints, very clean bathrooms and showers. The ropes course was our son’s favorite thing to do. We pet the animals, rode our bikes around the camping grounds, and played some basketball with our boy. The activities were limitless. The best perk about this camp ground I would say was the ice machine. It was convenient and easy when we needed more ice- instead of going and paying for more bags. The actual campground its self was clean, flat, and had lots of shade. I would highly recommend renting the propane fire pit- we were still able to have s’mores even though there wasn’t any actual fires permitted. They have yoga on Sunday mornings (although I was too hungover to go, I love that there was an option for that) lol The owner was very kind and we will definitely be back. We wanted to experience the camp ground first, so we will be renting a cabin the next time. Very convenient location, right around the corner from a couple stores, as we forgot a couple things. One of my favorite places I’ve camped. Thank you Sutter!

This property was lovely! When we arrived, Taylor was there and he was able to show us around and answer any questions we had. The dogs were happy with having so much shade in the trees. We will definitely be back and have already recommended the property to friends.

Fantastic facilities in a gorgeous part of the country. I wish we could have stayed longer! This is an amazing camp to explore from. Peaceful. Safe. Clean. Hosts are simply wonderful people. Directions are clear. Ice machine?! Showers are hot. Ping pong by twilight. Get your volleyball on. Put on a show in the outdoor camp amphitheater. Find your focus on the low ropes course. Did I mention the ice machine and showers? As a kid, I would have chosen to play here with family besties and explore this breathtaking region over Disney any day. Thank you for extending our stay when I forgot to reserve another night-! All the best with rebuilding efforts to you & Greenville. 🦋

Sooooooo cute omg I could live there! The hosts were amazing the animals were adorable and the cabin was clean spacious and had ac!! We added the propane stove for 20 bucks and we made dinner right there it was perfect

Host is very responsive, helpful and friendly. The place is clean and has all what a camper would need: clean restrooms, shower ( with hot water) , trees for shade etc.

Second time here! Still just as amazing. It was a bit warm but cooled down nicely at night. The bull frog at the pond was very chatty! Just adorable.

I had the best sleep while camping at Copper Creek Camp. At night it was tranquil and very beautiful as I looked at the stars through the top of my tent. The owners of the camp supplied me with a propane fire pit and picnics table, making it a comfortable outdoor experience. My campsite was very well well maintained, clean, with trees all around the perimeter. The bathrooms & showers are close by and in excellent order. The hiking around the area was amazing; it was cool seeing the fawns and other deer all throughout the camp. I love this place. I highly recommend this camp, I’m sure you’ll love it too :)

The Overlook Cabin
The Overlook Cabin was outstanding, we loved it! The cabin was immaculate, equipped with AC and every other amenity. We will go back here again because the area is so peaceful, beautiful, clean, and quiet. It was great to relax and see the local wildlife as well. Our dog was welcome too, which was wonderful😀 Thank you to our hosts for making sure our stay was great! We would rate this a 10/10, A+ all the way!

Fantastic and lovely hosts! This site has excellent facilities, and HOT water! Long hikes with the idea of having a hot shower made our short vacation that much better. The horses they have on site are beautiful and there are lots of fun games to be played (ping pong, tether ball, a basket ball court, corn hole, and a volleyball court!). They even have an ice machine. 10/10 would recommend and would go back.

The Little Grey Cabin
One of the most unique experiences I've ever had at any hip camp stay. So many amenities in an area with so many things to do. Highly recommended.

Coppercreek Camp Tent Camping
Absolutely amazing place! Yes, it was hit by the Dixie fire BUT this is the prime example of seeing beauty from ashes! I stayed in a more dispersed camping area which was perfect for my dogs. The deer would frolic through the trees at all hours. I woke up to birds chirping and had my coffee in front of the pond. It was definitely a great weekend retreat.
