Come visit the beautiful forest and breathe in the fresh mountain air! Located in a peaceful mountain neighborhood with forest trails right outside the back door, the property is just 20 minutes from Lake Isabella and Kern River rafting, and only 7 miles from Alta Sierra Ski Resort. The Trail of 100 Giants and Sequoia National Park are also within scenic day trip distance, approximately 1.5 to 3 hours away. Our family cabin is a two-story gambrel located in a quiet vacation neighborhood, where the backyard opens to the Alta Sierra National State Park. Note: I would double-check the name “Alta Sierra National State Park.” The wording may be incorrect or may refer to a different nearby park or forest area.Come visit the beautiful forest and breathe the fresh mountain air! The space There are two bedrooms with three full size beds, large closets, and a full bath upstairs. Downstairs has a living room, small laundry area, 1/2 bath and full size kitchen. There is a small balcony out front The Fire pit is for show only as fires are not allowed on the property or in this area! The indoor fireplace is in working condition. Be sure the flu is wide open and in “lock” position before use and mesh screen closed. Duraflame type logs are required. Do not overfill The driveway fits two cars max. Parking is not allowed on the front of property. There are security cameras in the front and back of the property Guest access The garage and the downstairs closet remain inaccessible to guests but the rest of the home and property may be enjoyed freely. The rock pit in back is for show only as fires are not allowed on the property or in this area! The indoor fireplace may be used during winter months only. There is a remote on the mantle to control the smokeless candles for ambience. The entire home is heated nicely by thermostat controlled wall heating. We do appreciate that you secure your pet in the kitchen area and clean paws after hikes etc. Please no pets on the beds, furniture or in tub/sinks. The baby gate works both to secure kitchen area or stairs. Do not leave trash unattended outside. You can dispose of it in the bear can outside and must take it with you down the mountain at the end of your stay. Other things to note: The home is on a septic water system. The toilets will only flush small amounts of toilet paper at a time . Sanitary napkins, tampons, paper towels or other objects paper or otherwise must be disposed into the trash receptacle. Food should be scraped into trash and dishes rinsed before putting i
