The property was beautiful and I really enjoyed staying in the yurt! The location also cannot be beat—perfectly in between lake Shasta, Lassen, and Mt Shasta!

I loved the property and the yurt in particular! It was very clean and had everything we needed. It made it so easy to enjoy the outdoors without having to bring all our tent and cooking items. The location was ideal for enjoying the surrounding falls and parks! We’d love to come back!

Lucas received us when we arrived at the camp site. He showed us around, had water for washing dishes and potable water ready. Camping among the apple trees under a starry night was beautiful. If you are riding a motorcycle, be aware that the road within the property is packed gravel.

Apple Orchard Tent/Van Camping
It was a treat to sleep between the trees in the apple orchard, and the stargazing was amazing! Lucas was a friendly host and made sure we understood all the amenities available to us (flush toilet and game room at the main house, best trails to get an awesome view of Mt Shasta, and a lovely pond for swimming). The place was easy to find and no doubt we will be returning on a future trip to the area.

Private Yurt Glamping
My friend and I loved staying in the Yurt at Lucas and Shelby’s place! Finding the place was seamless and the yurt had all the necessities, plus the bed is super comfy! The property is gorgeous and we loved seeing deer in the mornings and evenings. Lucas was a great host and did everything to make sure we were comfortable, including giving great recommendations for our day trips to Lassen and nearby waterfalls. Would definitely stay again the next time I’m in the area!

Super fantastic host. We had multiple schedule changes that turned into a lot of confusion. When we got that he gave us the full tour of all the amenities and things to avoid. Saw tons of deer, two foxes, bats, and geese. Beautiful property as well. Wish we had dedicated a whole day to just exploring the property. The game/gym room was awesome for kids. Definitely a place id like to come back to.

Loved staying at Vineyard Yurt Glamping! The property was beautiful! The yurt itself is tucked back in the vineyard, a little ways off the main property so it feels very private. Lucas was a great host - easy to work with and very responsive.

We felt warmly welcomed and comfortable on the beautiful property. It was just as described. We loved hiking the trails around the property- especially the one with a view of Mt. Shasta. It was stunning at sunset.
Luke was kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable.
We saw deer. foxes, many species of birds. The campsites are spacious and far away from the homes on the property so it felt quite private.

This place is amazing and very private. The yurt was clean and spacious. It was very windy the night we stayed but the wind didn't touch us. The wind just created a lot of sound which is expected. I definitely recommend.

The stay at Lucas's vineyard was amazing! There was so much thought in being able to have an outdoor space with the outdoor kitchen setup, the optional solar shower bag, the yurt, and the location of the yurt in the corner of the vineyard to get the most shade during the hot summer.
There is also nice amenities around the camp include a pond to jump into, a game room, and nice hikes to see Shasta in the distance.
Hosts were very welcoming and even provided us a bag of salad, because the nearby store on the way over had no vegetables.
Wonderful Stay! Highly recommend!

The Yurt was wonderful! The Vineyard is peaceful and Lucas is an excellent host! I was there for two nights to hike and visit nearby waterfalls. I will 100% return.

Amazing hosts and a beautiful campground.
It was awesome staying literally right on the vineyard - great sunrise and sunset views. The place came fully equipped with a sink, grill, shower bag, utensils, cookware, and more than ample lighting (solar-powered), etc… stove didn’t work so well but we got away using the grill just fine. The bed itself was super comfortable. The location was quick drive to burney falls and the town of burney as well.
We loved spending time in the host’s well-spaced game room as well (ping pong, billiards, and darts). Would definitely recommend!

So lovely!
the yurt is private on its own patch of land. Luke was very accommodating when our travel went a bit awry. And there’s a lot to do on the property / nearby - we would’ve liked to have spent more time there. Not just passing through.

So lucky to have stayed here over the Solstice. Lucas was there for my arrival and led me to campsite 3 in the Apple Orchard. Loved the privacy and the star gazing. The short hike to the view of Mt Shasta is amazing and worth it. Appreciated the triple filtered water, and a 5 gallon container of regular water was waiting for me along with comfy plastic Adirondack chairs that were easy to move to the shade. Will stay here again.

had a great stay in the old apple orchard with nearby creek and pond. treated with up close wild life views of deer, fox, and squirrel.
had the orchard to ourselves during the week. took shower bag showers under an apple tree. gameroom was fun on our down days - played darts, pool, table tennis, and exercise equip. enjoyed a walk around the property and sunset views of hillside and Shasta.
Lucas was a great host, listened to our needs and was very responsive to requests. provided extra table and chairs and suggestions for local sightseeing. felt very much at home without the obligation of home projects.

It's a great property with a very helpful host. Luke gave us the tour when we arrived. We appreciated having table/trash/water provided at the site. Path to bathroom was illuminated which was helpful at night.

I was concerned about how much there would be to do up here, and how pretty it would be. Luke was one of the most helpful and down to earth people i have ever met. I had a big group with lots of different needs and Luke was able to fulfil everyone's needs effectively and with grace. He is very knowledgable about the property and surrounding area. There is also a beautiful pond you can swim in and a game room. I cannot stress enough how much he helped us. Beautiful property with lots going on. Their dog Dax is hysterical and loves attention. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you Luke.

We had such a great time! Site was beautiful. Yurt was spacious and made camping so comfortable. Bed was great. It was so convenient to have a functioning sink. Would definitely recommend.

The stay was great! Lucas was very nice and the campsite was perfect! His dog came out to visit and we had many deer stop by as well. My friends and I had a great one night stay. We definitely recommend!

We stayed at Site 2 on Memorial Day weekend. It's a new site in a clearing that is up a hill from the barn/main area, and it was spacious. Lucas was quick to answer questions, he checked to make sure we had sufficient trash/water, and he gave us good suggestions for things to check out on a busy holiday weekend. Potem Falls is exquisite!!
This property is beautiful - Lucas and his family have put a lot of work in create the trails, pond, and clear areas that were overgrown after being untended for 20 years. I enjoyed taking morning walks on the trails to the Shasta viewpoint, and exploring the property to see the vineyard and wildflowers.
A few things to note about this site: be aware it receives a lot of sun and can get quite warm in the summer, and bring some closed-toed shoes as there are some short, thorny branches in the clearing.

It was lovely! A very nice set up with fabulous views, plenty of critters to observe, and SO much open space between us and the other campsites it felt like we were camping all by ourselves!! The property was so awesome, we need to return just so we can explore more. Lucas was a really great host. He was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Definitely will go back!
