Important things to know: * The road to the Pull-In Dry Camp RV is gravel and easy to navigate. * The road to the remaining sites is unpaved, rocky, mountainous, and very rough. Optional parking may be available for the hike-in. * Creeks are full in the wet season but dry up in summer. Good to know: * People who have stayed there like how quiet it is and how close it is to Yosemite. * There are other camping options nearby if Canyon Crest is booked. Miners' Tailings Tent SIte

100% (3)
Tent site · Sleeps 6
Enjoy primitive camping with a view! This site, located next to a tailings pile, and below a rentable camper, offers a unique experience under majestic oak trees with scenic mountain views. This is a dry camping location – meaning there's no water or bathroom facilities available. You'll find no tables or amenities here, just a fire pit/BBQ pit for cooking. Embrace the challenge and beauty of nature. Pack it in, pack it out – please be sure to remove all trash when you leave. A shovel is essential for burying human waste (at least 6 inches deep and 200 feet from any water source). Come prepared and leave no trace.
