We recently stayed here for a camping trip, and while the setup seems great for RVs, tent camping definitely felt like an afterthought. The tent sites were, what felt like, on a dirt parking lot and they were separated only by a line of rocks, which meant neighbors were right next to us. This left very little privacy and no real safe space for kids to run around.
Another big disappointment was the lack of fire pits—neither the tent sites nor the common areas had one available. Not being able to make s’mores around a campfire took away a lot of the traditional camping experience we were hoping for.
On top of that, our tent site was only about 10 yards from a highway, making it incredibly loud throughout the day and night. We had planned to stay two nights, but between the dirt, the closeness of the neighboring sites, and the constant traffic noise, we decided to leave after just one night.
On the positive side, the pool was a nice bonus and gave the kids a fun place to play. However, the playground felt a bit run down, and the common lodge was dated and in need of some upgrades.
Overall, I think this could be a good spot for RV campers, but if you’re planning on tent camping with kids, it may not be the most comfortable or family-friendly option.
