Everything was super accessible, and it had a great area for cooking and cleaning. The lighting and ambiance was very relaxing, and didn't deter from the outdoor experience.

We LOVED camping in the Coyote A Frame Cabin! Bed was very comfy, blankets were perfect! Perfect blend glamping and enjoying nature! The orchard was beautiful and the entire property from the bathrooms, kitchen outdoor living and dining areas were perfect for a weekend getaway to be in nature and enjoy the outdoors! Everyone was very helpful and kind and responsive!

My fiancé and I had a great time at Nopalito Farm! The hosts were welcoming and provided all the assistance we needed to get settled. The Squirrel Cabana was clean and cozy, and just a short walk from the awesome outdoor kitchen, shower, and bathrooms.
The avocado orchard was a gorgeous setting with a number of small native / beneficial plantings interspersed. Fresh flowers in the cabana, kitchen, and bathrooms were a nice touch.
If you are looking for a cozy, laid-back camping destination I would definitely consider Nopalito Farm.

Squirrel Cabana
A special place! Lovely facilities including wood fired oven. Nothing better than a cold outdoor shower on a hot day. Gertie is the sweetest. Jacob is a great host and we’ll definitely be back.

This place is so wonderful I'm tempted to gatekeep but my dog Roddy and I had the best time at the farm and I know Jacob will continue to keep this wonderful place thriving. Everyone we met was warm, and welcoming, Ester, Jacob, Senya, Mateo, Sonya, all the dogs, and other guests. This is a very special place, it's beautiful, relaxing, and has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. My dog enjoyed running around and exploring the farm with Gertie, the host pup, she is smart, sweet and such a great host! Roddy and I can't wait to visit the farm again and bring our friends next time. I used the pizza oven and enjoyed hot showers in the outdoor shower. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Jacob's land. I stayed in the Coyote Cabana and loved it!! I could lay in bed and watch the fire. The beds were comfortable and enough blankets for a cold night. The community kitchen and bathrooms were stocked and clean. I was excited to learn, and Jacob graciously taught me, about the pizza oven. Jacob was welcoming and kind and his passion for the land showed. I am thankful for my experience!

Absolutely phenomenal and peaceful, exactly what I needed. Close to san diego but feels like a whole other place. Gertie is the VIP hung out with me and my boyfriend all morning while we just chilled in the sun. All the kitchen supplies are great too, bedding super warm!

Jacob is a fantastic and welcoming host. It’s fun to open up the side of the A-frame and enjoy the views from the comfort of the bed or deck. The well stocked kitchen had everything needed to make great pizza - just add dough and your toppings of choice! We’ll be back!

Still in so much awe from this experience. Jacob is such a generous and kind individual. I immediately felt at home and cared after. The place is breathtaking with beautiful views everywhere. The starter kits helped a bunch with starting my fire. The bed was really comfortable and again, the views were immaculate. Will definitely be coming up again for summer.

We had a lovely stay with our dogs, who had a great time running around and exploring. The peaceful nature of the farm is just what we were looking for. We loved the outdoor shower, and the plumbing and hot water worked well. The casita was cozy and comfortable. The communal kitchen was fully equipped. Would definitely visit again!

we stayed at the roadrunner cabana, good choice if you're looking for privacy with another person. Jacob and everyone was welcoming and helpful. Gertie, their dog was a cutie and did great with our small dog. great vibes at Nopalito Farm and good pick if you're looking for somewhere romantic (:

What a fun little place! The casita was a great size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. It smelled amazing in April with all the citrus blooms. The stocked outdoor kitchen and bathroom with running water was great too. Fun, peaceful getaway.

This was a lovely experience and as a solo camper I felt very comfortable and safe. The amenities were so nice and offer additional convenience. Jacob and Gerdie the farm dog were the nicest hostess. I’m telling everyone I know to book a stay and will be back with my family soon. The directions and signs were helpful too. If you like pizza, bring your homemade pizza ingredients for the pizza oven. Cooked to perfection!

This was our first time 'glamping' and we had a great time. The host, Jacob, and his dog, Girdy, were fantastic. The amenities were perfect. If you want to have an easier time camping than roughing in, this is the place to go. We'll be back many times!

Squirrel Cabana
What a gem this place was! Me and my girlfriend came with our two dogs and it was absolutely perfect. The dogs were able to roam free the entire weekend and even got along with Gertie the farm dog. There was a big space to throw the ball around with them too, so they were pooper by EOD. As for the adults, it was super peaceful. We brought pizza dough from home, so that we could give the wood burning pizza oven a try (highly recommend). Jacob’s kitchen is very stocked, so in reality we would have been fine without any of the culinary-ware. Jacob was very accommodating, responsive, and an overall, very chill guy. We went home with a bag full of oranges, avocado, lemons, guava, and passion fruit. It’s really the best of both the camping and glamping world, and can’t wait to go back!

No words to describe this place! Jacob has turned this place into an unbelievable sanctuary with amazing energy. You can relax in the hammocks, enjoy the views of the green hills, visit some local wineries, make a pizza in his woodfired oven, sit by the campfire at your site, make friends, take an outdoor shower under the stars… I’ve stayed at a lot of Hipcamp ‘s, and this was by far my favorite. It truly is just a special place so do yourself a favor and go!

Amazing land, views, available fruits, outdoor kitchen, shower, and farm dog! Will absolutely be coming again. The farm dog, Gertie, took walks around the property every morning with me and my pups. She was very sweet to my five pound chihuahua who is weary of large dogs not her sister who is a 65 pound pittie. Everyone got along and I was so happy Gertie was gentle, kind, and patient with her introductions and mannerisms. If she likes you, she will come find you to say hello. She may have used me for treats but I couldn’t care less. Jacob, the host, was also amazing! We shared time together and had tea. My time here was a great escape when I needed to get away a bit and break up monotony.

Overall I had a great experience here, the property was beautiful and very well maintained. The bed in the small cabin was comfy, the shared kitchen has all the amenities needed, flush toilets is a huge luxury. The only thing that wasn’t great is I’m a very light sleeper and the noise from the fwy was pretty loud.

Literally had the BEST time! This is my third time booking on hipcamp and I think this was my favorite stay by far. Jacob and his dog Girtie made me feel right at home. He was super accommodating and I felt completely safe even though I was the only guest my first night there. Lots of stories were shared over freshly brewed oolong tea and sliced citrus straight from the garden.
The space is truly incredible and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for everything Jacob!

We had the best time this past weekend. Stayed one night with my two kids and it was a blast. Tent was cozy, clean and private. Girls had a blast picking fruit from the trees surrounding the tent. Cannot stop raving about the bathrooms!!! Best outdoor bathrooms I’ve ever seen. It was nice meeting Jacob and learning about the farm. It is so clear that he and his family love this place. We will absolutely be coming back. 10/10
