Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all! We have 4 different sites to choose from. 3 sites can accommodate recreational vehicles of different sizes and 1 site is just for tents. Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your self. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town of Mendocino! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal area, over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home! Some things to know; -Cell service is very spotty onsite. -There is one communal fire pit. (NO fires at individual site) -Please remember “ pack it in pack it out” -We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same. Camping at CAMPFIRE!

Loved tent camping on Nathaniel and Pearl’s property! Four sites. Great location. Very gracious hosts. Lots of amenities, some that came as a nice surprise upon arriving. Having firewood provided, a gas grill onsite with tongs, spatula and aluminum foil really helped us out a lot! Although we forgot towels and didn’t end up showering, the hot water was available at the sink station too. Read some reviews about mosquitoes and although they were present, Nathaniel and Pearl provided enough mosquito repellent to keep most of them away. We lucked out and got to camp with a very friendly couple. Made the experience all the better! Close to town and the state park. Great hikes only a few minutes away. Loved our stay and would really like to come back sometime and coordinate the sites with more of our friends.

Not private but nice amenities

Not quite as private camping as the description leads you to believe although thank goodness the other campers were quiet! Also very close to the main road so a bit noisy during daytime hours. The amenities were well done (communal fire pit with firewood supplied, shower and sink station) even though we didn’t use them. A bonus- if you have dogs there is a 2+ mile gravel road/trail about 0.25 mi up the road - no views but dogs can be off leash and no one else was on it when we walked it.

Campsite #3

Great tent camp spot on site #3 that felt private while the other sites were full. Clean porta-potties, shared fire pit space and grill available. Big plus was the outdoor shower and sink space.

Very thoughtful campsite! All the campsites are covered which allowed privacy. Wifi is helpful since there’s no signal, you can choose whether you want to be connected to the world still. Location is 10 min away from Mendocino and all the good hikes. Campfire is very ready to use with comfortable chairs and blankets. Hot water shower in nature is such a good add, just I didn’t figure out how to get the temperature stabilise so it’s a bit hot and cold. Overall I’d definitely come back again since the state park camp sites are really competitive these days.
