Camp Stevens is on traditional Kumeyaay Land.  Camp Stevens is located in a mixed pine-oak woodland, in the chaparral biome. You’ll find a wide variety of terrain here, including rocky hills, flat plains, and mountain slopes. The Camp Stevens mission is to inspire, challenge, and empower personal, social, and environmental transformation.     It was an excellent tiny cabin for the short stay we had. Nearby the town of Julian and easy to get to. Trails are a bit confusing but managed to figure it out and found Star Rock!

    Relaxing Mountain Retreat
    Camp Stevens is Delightful, had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights. Our Host Ari was very informative and super nice. Our room was really top notch for a Lodge, this isn't a Hotel and We expected this when booking. kind of a Hybrid id say, Also this camp appears to be transitioning to a new business platform to survive Covid and not being able to host large groups. They are doing their best to host smaller groups and not have itinerary of events scheduled. i applaud their efforts and wish the staff well.
